Dr. Jessica McClard, MD

Our first visit was wonderful. She talked to my husband and asked me questions. So kind and cheerful. We never felt rushed on any visit. She had the latest knowledge on the plan that she wanted us to try if he was eligible. She scheduled a PET scan in a timely matter. She gave us papers and Brochures to read. We never felt rushed in our visit. The Thomson office was very friendly when we came for an appointment as well as Augusta’s. The receptionists were friendly and helpfulWhen we learned that this procedure would not be beneficial, Dr McClard called us and shared the information and answered questions. She gave us things to try until we could come up with another medicine and wait for research. She was the perfect delieverer of disappointing news. She cared. She seemed to hurt with us as she talked. She is a wonderful neurologist and we love her

She is very talented. She explains everything well. She listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. She is so real! I am truly grateful and thankful for her and her team.

I'm not sure what experience the other reviewer had, but I am a patient of Dr. McClard's at her clinic in Thomson and she is wonderful! She gave me the opportunity to explain my experiences with my condition, and she was attentive with addressing my questions and concerns. She is very sweet and treated my husband and I with the utmost respect during my appointment. Dr. McClard made me feel like she cares about me as a person, not just as a patient. I recommend her to anyone who needs a neurologist in the Augusta area.

Dr Jessica is still in residency as a student Dr and she’s already a horrible neurologist. She did the bare minimum for me, as a patient, when I was having serious medical complications. She refused to change my meds after I started to experiences devastating and allergic side effects. I will refuse to ever see her again. Hopefully she doesn’t intentionally, neglect other patients as she did to me. Even though, I don’t believe I’m the first patient she has abandoned and neglected, and I’m quite sure, I won’t be the last.
