Dr. Jerryce Hudson, MD

I visited Dr. Hudson yesterday, February 17, 2025. Was pleasantly surprised and happy as to how nice her whole crew there were. Doctor Hudson herself paid a lot of attention to me. She answered questions and she asked questions. She has a sense of humor and she’s a real person. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with her and I am definitely calling her my doctor. She did anything and more than was expected of her. I so appreciated her expertise and professionalism along with a sweet sense of humor so thankful that she’s on my insurance but I think I would have to go to her even if she wasn’t now that I know her. Dr. Hudson is a doctor who clearly lacks genuine concern for her patients, and it shows in her practice. I have been seeing her for a few years, and because I typically only have annual appointments, I chose to stick with her. However, after my recent experience, I am rethinking that decision. I scheduled an appointment specifically to have some reasonable accommodation forms filled out for my employer, as recommended by my employee relations team. These forms were intended to secure ergonomic equipment such as a standing desk and chair. When I made the appointment, I clearly communicated the purpose and details regarding the forms needed. I'm confused as to why an appointment was even allowed to be scheduled. However, when I attended my appointment, it became evident that Dr. Hudson had no intention of engaging with me directly. Instead, her technician was sent in to discuss why I needed the forms, but the information provided was erroneous. I explained that I have lingering back pain due to childbirth two years ago and weight lifting, yet Dr. Hudson never even at the least entered the room to address my concerns or clarify the situation. Instead, I was informed that she does not fill out forms related to disability, which was completely inaccurate as these were not disability forms. I subsequently called the office manager, Helen, to sort out the misinformation, but the experience left me deeply disappointed. Dr. Hudson's failure to communicate or provide any clarification is unacceptable, especially when I was asked to pay $130 for an office visit on top of the $25 copay I had already paid if I wanted to speak with her. I may be just one patient, but I will no longer be returning to Dr. Hudson, and I strongly urge others to consider their options before choosing a doctor who cannot spare a moment to engage meaningfully with their patients. Her typical annual appointments last a mere two minutes, which further emphasizes her lack of commitment to patient care.

Dr. Hudson has been our family doctor for many years. She is very thorough and very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend her.

I am a patient of over 3 years as of now. From day one Dr. Jerryce Hudson has always exemplified consistent and very accurate wisdom in both; diagnosis, as well as resolution. She is very gifted. Her skill-set and attention to detail literally saved my life. I have seen her work with the young and the old providing the same care and consistency. I would wait in a line down the block for her worth-while results. Well worth the wait, if any! I met Dr. Hudson for the first time in January when I needed to find a new family doctor as I had changed my insurance. I am very picky about my doctors and I tend to do a lot of research before I choose one. She had a five star rating and after I met her I knew why. Dr. Hudson is extremely pleasant, listens to you carefully and won't let you go before you are fully satisfied. She helps you take a decision about your medication and answers all your questions.
