In 2021 we t to Dr Adderholdt due to the fact bone and joint said there was nothing wrong because they sent me for an MRI. Told I had carpal tunnel in my left hand. Well they actually said both left being the worse so I let them do surgery. There isn’t a day that goes by that I am not reminded of the pain in my hand. A year later I was still in pain and I was given excuse after excuse. Well I requested my medical records. Found my report for my MRI. Started reading it and it said something rotator cuff. So put it in Google and guess what?! The diagnosis from the radiologist was a torn rotator cuff. I mean seriously they didn’t even read the report if they had they would have seen that and it does mimic carpal tunnel because it effects your muscle all the way down the arm. So I had to have rotator cuff surgery spent 7 months in Rehab due to the fact I was already way past a year when I found the report. I hate medical here they all think they know all and will not listen to you.

I went to see Dr Adderholt with extreme lower back pain. I had heen told I had bulging discs and stenosis. After a review of my records and an office visit Dr Adderholt told me that my pain was from Arthritis in my hips. He referred me to a bone and joint specialist and recommended an NSAID. I was very relieved that the problem was not in my back. I was impressed by this doctor's professionalism and his willingness to tell me that he could not help me with my current issues.

When I went to see Dr. Adderholt I was in the most excruciating (burning nerve pain) I had ever experienced. This pain was even worse than the post-op (CABG) Open heart surgery pain I had experienced. We went through all the insurance required P.T. and other non invasive treatments. Insurance finally approved MRI. Two days later Dr Adderholt.. (Whom I trusted completely..I was a Surgery RN for many years at ECM Hospital and had worked with Dr Adderholt at times. So I had insider information about what a competent Neuro Surgeon he is.) SIDE NOTE: HE ALSO TREATS THE NURSES WITH RESPECT. So on October 13th 2022 I went to surgery at NAMC with Dr Adderholt as my Neuro Surgeon. ACDF with plate, screws and Allograft at Left C5-C6, and C6-C7. And this was my immediate post-op results..... PAIN FREE IN PACU !!!! Thank You Dr. ADDERHOLT!!

I had used Dr Adderholt Jr. back in 2013, I had went to three doctors and his procedure was the best. I had a Micro cut and recovery was easy only ten days. I would highly recommend him.

We have never been talked to so badly by a doctor as he talked to us after he was told that my husband was going to be moved to UAB to consult with his neurosurgeon. The doctor that placed the shunt in his head after a brain bleed. That was three years prior to bypass surgery that resulted in the cutting of the tube during the sternum being cut open. We had informed them of the brain shunt but they saw no need in consulting his regular neurosurgeon at UAB thus damage ing the shunt.
