Dr. Jennifer Ward, MD

I've spent years going to different doctors with the same symptoms and never getting a diagnosis. Dr. Ward is amazing at listening and asking key questions. Because of her, my life changed radically. I now know have a diagnosis and am thankful for a doctor who asked the right questions. She's an answer to prayer. She also is great at the basics. I never feel rushed. I always feel that I have the time to ask ALL of the questions that I have. Since she has a geriatric specialty, I even brought my mother with Alzheimer's to see her. I love my mom deeply and am thankful Dr. Ward can give her care in these final years. Dr. Ward is a great doctor who listens, cares, and works hard to get patients what they need.

She took time and really addressed my issues

Dr. Ward ignored my pain the entire time I was under her care. She did literally nothing to investigate why I was experiencing much greater pain than is typical for the surgery I had. She did nothing to treat the pain either. I remained at a 7 or higher on the pain scale almost the entire time I was under her care. She was rude, demeaning, and dismissive. She griped me out about having been given a medication that I never asked for. Apparently, a nurse took pity on me because of my excruciating pain and asked another doctor to prescribe me something stronger than what she had me on. I had no say in the matter, but when she found out, she chewed me out as if I had magically written the prescription myself. On my last day in the hospital, I told her how much greater the pain was because of all the extra physical activity they put me through on that day and I begged for something to help with the pain. She told me she would get me something but that was a straight up lie to my face.

Dr. Ward is very knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to talk to. I’ve never felt rushed or cut off in any way.

She has me seen by her trainees and only comes in to see me at the end of the visit for less than two minutes. I have had appointments with her six times and am extremely disappointed. She may be great but I have no faith in her trainees. The last one was rude! I would have to gave more contact with her to be satisfied with her.

Dr. Ward is a great doc for the family. She’s a great communicator and is prompt with communication which I appreciate.

She actually cares & listens. I don’t feel like I’m being treated as though I’m being herded like cattle! Very personable. I love this gal, Dr. Jennifer!!!

She is amazing. She has been my Dr for 6 years and has helped me tremendously. She was my ob while I was pregnant and that was 5 years ago. She also delivered my son and is his pediatrician. She deserves to be praised. I love her to death. She knows a lot about me.

I moved my care to Dr. Ward because I wanted a PCP who was a specialist in gerontology and couldn't be more pleased. Her care for me over these years has been, thorough, caring, and professional.

She took a lot of tie with my elderly parents to really find out what the issues were. Kind, thorough and made us feel really comfortable.

Such a passionate, thorough, and caring doctor whom I would recommend highly! Always nice to not dread going to the doctor, such a refreshing experience!
