I cried when left her office and never went back
I suffer from a syncope which leaves me lightheaded the majority of the time. Previous cardiologists have been willing to work with me to try to prevent my chronic symptoms. After a few years of not feeling like my current meds were helping anymore, my primary care sent me to Dr mirza. After I explained my symptoms and how I’m miserably lightheaded the majority of the time, she said, “I’m sorry. Why are you here?” I explained that I was hoping she could help me feel better. I was so confused and discouraged at this point. I couldn’t understand why she would ask me that and especially in her incredulous tone… as though she is not a heart doctor ??. Then she said, “I think our only job concerning people like you is to make sure you’re not bed bound”.
