First time appointment with Dr. Kirby. In 10 years of being treated for my thyroid. This is the very first time I felt heard, understood and validated about my ongoing symptoms. I was given options for treatment and a referral for other issues. My care went above and beyond my expectations.

Dr. Kirby listened to my questions and concerns snd answered all of them.

I was beyond impressed with Dr. Kirby. For instance, I had a specific concern about blood sugar lows while working at a physically active job. Dr. Kirby made a specific suggestion for solving this problem. I tried it at work the next day and it solved the problem.

Dr Kirby is the best doctor I've had as a provider when it comes to diagnosing and treating less common issues, working on and fighting for insurance coverage for treatments for patients that aren't easily covered as the condition doesn't fit neatly in the most common diagnostic categories for coverage, and is one of the most empathetic providers I've met. She explains difficult and technical information in common terms, explains treatment options and includes me in the decision making to determine what would work best in my life to allow me to follow treatment plan more easily. There are so many other positive things I could write about Dr Kirby. I highly recommend her to anyone but especially for those who had been failed by previous doctors that could never properly diagnose or treat a patient like me who had lost all quality of life, hope, and had an uncommon condition that is extremely difficult to treat effectively and requires a lot of trial and error to find the right tre...

Dr. Kirby is a phenomenal physician. She seems genuinely interested in my health journey and explains the risks/benefits when changing or adding a new prescription. Her patience with my many questions never seems to faze her. Her level of knowledge and professionalism is tremendous. She has the unique ability to impart some of that knowledge that pertains to me in an easy to understand way. This is very much appreciated. Also, a truly remarkable skill (not sure this is the correct word here) is that because of her knowledge, her manner, her attention to detail and everything about her physician care actually motivates me, as a patient, to do better.
