Worst physician experience of my life. No concept of even being close to scheduled appointment time and had no plan of treatment after seeing me for the mere 10 minutes she spent with me. I waited an hour and a half to see her. On the next visit I didn’t get to see her at all and was placed with PA who changed tx plan after I paid prescription copay on the first medications I was prescribed before I had a chance to use them. I’m not made of money and don’t appreciate paying for medication I can’t use. The whole experience was confusing and disrespectful of myself and my time. Never going back to that circus of a practice

I have been going to her for over 20 years. Even when my insurance changed, she set up a discounted cash price so I could continue to see her. I have complete trust in her and frequently recommend patients to her.

Dr. Kapros and the staff assist you answer all questions and concerns along with explaining your treatment plan and results in a way that you can understand them. Clean friendly office along with the staff and Lab Corp on site to draw any blood work. I highly recommend this office

Dr. Kapros is extremely knowledgeable and thorough and was the first doctor to identify and properly treat my severe osteoporosis. She is the best part of moving back to Mechanicsville!

I am overwhelmed with the knowledge and experience of Dr. Kapros. She listens to your concerns and talks to you about them. She treats you as an intelligent person and includes you in making the decisions about your healthcare. I recommend her to all my family and friends! It does take a while to get in to see her….she is THAT good!!! Also she does ask her patient to see her NPs every other visit, but if you ask to only see her they will accommodate, but it will take more time for an appointment. She is the best!!!

I have never written a review before, but had such a wonderful experience that I wanted to share. If you are looking for a doctor to spend time with you and really listen to you, Dr. Kapros is that person. She spent over an hour and a half on my first visit. She put me at ease and is committed to helping me find answers. I have never had a doctor promise to help me get better. Additionally the staff was kind and friendly. In a time when healthcare is often rushed and impersonal, Dr. Ka pros is a breath of fresh air.

After being a patient of this practice for many years and only seeing the Dr. once, I am now able to see that they do not care about their patients. I saw Dr. Kapros when I was first diagnosed with diabetes and after that appointment, I have been thrown around to different NPs. I did not receive a reminder for an appointment and missed it and was charged $50. After trying to rectify the situation, I was told that "I'm sorry, you missed the appointment and that is what you owe." Waited several months to see if things were resolved and just received a letter that they were turning me over to collections. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE IF YOU NEED MEDICAL CARE! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS. They are money hungry and could care less as long as they get paid!

Dr. Armenti-Kapros has been our endocrinologist for more than fifteen years. Always professional and personable, she is interested in getting to the answer on medical concerns and pursues issues until they are completely resolved. We feel very confident being cared for by this exceptional doctor.

Getting to her is an obstacle course. One has to dial the office before going in and the phone is answered “can you hold?” No I can’t hold. I’m outside in 30 degree weather with 30 MPH wind gusts! An appropriate way to answer the phone is “dr Kapros’s office are you here for your appointment?” That way the receptionist would have to look out the frosted glass at the reception desk. Who frosts reception glass when patients are forced to phone the office before they can walk in? Once you get called back to the room, prepare to wait a minimum of 20 minutes —this happened to me on two visits but she comes in immediately when I open the door and say “I’ve been waiting 20 minutes do you know how much longer it will be before I see the doctor?”

Dr. Kapros is so amazing. She takes time to go over any testing, listens to how I am feeling, goes over all information on any medicine that she feels may help my medical issues. She respects my input into to my care, she has truly shown she cares and is willing to continue to work hard to find out what is the best answer to helping me reach my goal ...being healthier and feeling better. Dr. Kapros truly has given me hope after years of struggling with issues. I highly recommend Dr. Kapros and her staff. I am 150 % satisfied with her professionalism, knowledge & caring. Sheri Wilson

I have been with Dr. Kapros before she moved to where she is now. she is a straight forward no nonsense person. You have to listen to her, do what she says and things usually get better. I don't always get to have an appointment with her but when I do I enjoy speaking with her because she listens. The nurse practitioner are also great to. I don't think any other doctor can help me with my diabetes care like she can. Her entire office staff is great.

While I think Dr. Kapros is very intelligent, she never really hears me. I have spent an hour in front of her telling me how smart she is and how she fixes all sorts of people by reading their test results, but can't seem to fix me. I have repeatedly asked for suggestions of things I can do to help my illness and all I get is a pill, very disheartening. I am getting a new doctor.
