Lack of empathy & poor bed side manner
Almost an hour behind schedule & never read the paperwork I completed. Made little eye contact the entire time & didn't focus on the reason I was there. She was judgemental. Her physical exam was far from a proper main management exam. After reading the report from my office visit & finding numerous lies & inconsistencies in the report I decided I will not return to see her. It was the worst experience with a physician I've ever had.

She doesn’t care about your pain
le) have left me feeling like a disposable patient with no value, except the they could make money off of me. I’m only 41 but had L3-5 artificial disc replacement (2017) & right piriformis removal & sciatic decompression (2018). I was doing great until I crashed my road bike in 2020, landing on my right SI joint. My wonderful pain doctor (Dr Grewal with The San Antonio Orthopedic Group) left medicine altogether in 2021 & I thought it would be a good idea to get a local pain doctor as opposed to one in San Antonio. I’ve been a patient of Dr Erian for 1.5 yrs. I had to see a different Dr in Austin for PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections since Dr. Erian advertised PRP but couldn’t offer it yet, and I was trying trying every possible conservative treatment. After these didn’t work I was getting prepped to do a Spinal Cord Stimulator trial with her. Dr Erian and her office took 10 days to send the correct lumbar & thoracic MRI orders (w sedation) to Peterson, even though Peterson Schedul

Everytime I've been to Dr. Erian everything is wonderful. The office is clean, the staff are friendly and Dr. Erian is knowledgeable. I have several issues however she is working to resolve all my areas of pain quickly.

Had a scheduled appointment for 3:30 pm and went in at 2:55 because I was at work. But I came in earlier that appointment and the receptionist was rude and made me feel like I had done something wrong. I was exhausted from work and in pain and thought the receptionist could have been pleasant and inviting. So if the receptionist is that uncaring then I can only believe that this Dr may be just as unkind. So I will seek another Dr.
