While no one wants to have a colonoscopy done Dr. Botkins made it comfortable and a super easy experience. Great bedside manner and everyone at the facility was beyond kind and helpful. Will definitely recommend Dr. Botkins and Ohio Gastro group!

Had an initial telehealth consult for some acid reflux symptoms and then an upper GI performed by Dr. Botkins. She was extremely kind and very knowledgeable. Outstanding bedside manner and very professional. I was very sorry to read and learn of another review where someone's mother experienced significant complications - I'm sure that must have been an awful and frightening experience. I was very fortunate in that I had a very pleasant experience all around (at Mount Carmel St Ann's) and would not hesitate to recommend her. An outstanding physician in my personal experience.

receiving a positive result for colo guard cancer screening,I needed to schedule my 1st colonoscopy . At 70 yrs old I had great anxiety about this. Actually another Dr. Was scheduled to do the procedure,but she was scheduled instead. After reading the only reviews available I was more than concerned.When taking paper work in early i spoke to the office receptionist who said she trusted her doing her mom's procedure.My pulse & BP were high so they calmed me down.The test was negative,Super staff

I had a VERY good experience with Dr. Botkins. She is thorough and kind and made me feel very much at ease. She did an excellent job when I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy at the same time. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Botkins!

Dr. Botkins almost killed my mom. During a routine procedure, a non-routine complication arose (Mom sustained a large tear in her esophagus), Both the doctor and the nursing staff failed to catch this while she was in recovery. I know nobody wants to believe the worst possible complication has happened, but I really feel like this team needs to be more educated and more reactive. My mom almost died because of them.

Would not recommend, My daughter had a procedure at this practice, not only did the intake nurse not bring me back in time to see her before the procedure, she also brought my daughter back in hysterical tears claiming it was the mix of medications she was given for the procedure. So while my adult daughter is still drugged up the doctor comes in to talk with her and she doesn't remember a thing or what was even said. On top of this they discharged her and she was a FALL risk with no assistance!
