Dr. Jeness Barthel, MD

Dr. Barthel always gives a warm welcome and makes you feel comfortable and secure upon arrival and throughout your visit! She listens openly, and responds with her honest knowledge and feedback as well. I am now in my 28th week of pregnancy and I am thankful to say that she has never once made me, or my husband, feel uneasy or unsure about anything regarding her expertise and connection to our pregnancy journey.

Dr. Barthel is always so personable and patient. We discussed my issues and possible causes and possible solutions. She is very engaging and helpful.

I’ve always loved Dr. Barthel. This was our first OB appointment and she helped ease our minds and anxiety about all things pregnancy. She answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable. She’s downright amazing! She had to leave our appointment early to deliver a baby, which of course we didn’t mind because babies come first!!

She is always so kind. Quick to the point, absolutely straightforward, no nonsense, and no unnecessary questions unrelated to the care you’re there for. She doesn’t fat shame or weight shame (and she’s the first gyno I’ve had that hasn’t done that), and she’s very gentle with her exams. I will continue to see her until she stops practicing or goes somewhere I can’t travel to.

Dr. Barthel has been so informative, compassionate, and gentle in helping me with my first pregnancy. She really takes the time to answer all of my questions. She has made me feel so comfortable every step of the way. She is not pushy in anyway. She encourages you to make the best choices for you and your baby and provides all the information you need.

When my other Gyno was out on medical leave and than I was told my other gyno had to retire because of her illness. DR. BARTHEL stood up to the plate to take care of me. Went in for my annual exam. She came in with a smile on her face and talked about my past medical with Dr. P. IT WAS LIKE SHE KNEW ME AS WELL AS MY PAST GYNO. She sent me to get my annual memo and ultrasound. And when I needed more testing because of a finding. She called me herself. Which I like in a Dr. If it was not for myself stalling and waiting to see when Dr. P was coming back. I may not have known about my current conditions with breast cancer that I am under treatment today. And if it were not for the stalling my early stage of cancer may not have been found if I went in earlier. Which I had 2 Lumpactomies which the Dr could not been able to stay withing the safe margins. So now I will get a mestectomy in about 2 weeks. But I want to thank Dr. Barthel for helping me find my cancer. See you next year.

She is always so patient and kind. Treats you like a person rather than a business transaction. Been seeing her for years! Definitely recconmmend.
