Dr. Jason Sparks, DO

Dr. Sparks is one of the only doctors in Tulsa that does the Intracept procedure. I just had it done and after years of pain in my back, I am noticing a difference in my pain level. The procedure went great and now all I have to do is recover and hopefully most of my pain will be gone. Thanks to Dr. Sparks and his staff for taking good care of me.

Took time to diagnose my specific problem and corrected my back issues. Dr. Sparks is at the top of his field and works with other surgeons that are at the top of theirs. I feel that I received the best care possible.

My initial visit with Dr Sparks was very informative and comforting. Since my first visit I developed some apprehension about having surgery that I never expressed to Dr. Sparks. When we talked a week ago, I am glad that he will be performing my surgery. I love and appreciate his honesty, his knowledge and his confidence in having performing my type of surgery. I was referred to Dr. Sparks because I have 2 bulging disc in my neck due to a car wreck( me being a back seat passanger) I appreciated how he explained my options and gave me options about my care. He wasn't pushy and he talked like he genuinely cared. He made me feel comfortable. We are still waiting to find out if I will be able to have the disc replacement in my neck but that's because of the insurance. All in all I like Dr. Spark and hopefully he will be the one doing my surgery. I also appreciate how friendly everyone of the staff was toward me.

Dr Sparks is an excellent surgeon in my opinion and experience. He replaced disc in my neck and did both carpal tunnel surgeries on my hands. I still have headaches but I feel so much better. My hands are healing as we speak and I hope they turn out as well as my replaced disc. Dr Sparks is a wonderful communicator. He will explain your options, discuss your surgeries, and I believe is generally concerned. I feel extremely fortunate to have been referred to him. His entire team is friendly yet down to business. You feel like they care and that is so important. Thank you Dr Sparks and your nurses, can't forget your anesthesiologist Jeff Hensley he is wonderful not sure about his bedside manners but he made me think. I am thankful for everything. Neck fusion surgery went really great outstanding staff and modern clinic absolutely flawless procedure felt better that day unbelievable treatment afterwards I would recommend to anyone that needs this procedure an absolute 10 out of 10.

Dr Sparks is very professional, and will not just treat you like your on an assembly line where you get the same treatment as everyone else around you, everyone is unique and no 2 injuries are alike, Dr Sparks tailors treatment to you and your needs, and will assist you in making the best decisions as to the coarse of treatment you need. The staff are friendly and courteous and very efficient. I personally don't think I could have received better care where else.

Dr Sparks is personable he is thorough. I would advise anyone with back pain to pick the phone up and call for an appointment immediately. I wake up in the morning and forget I ever had back pain.

I saw Dr. Sparks for a herniated disc that was effecting my sciatic nerve. I have numbness and weakness in my leg due to the disc. He spoke with me about my options. He never pressured me to have surgery, but in the end we decided on a microdiscectomy. I’m not very far out from my surgery so time will tell if it worked. But, the surgery went well and I am recovering nicely. I really feel like Dr. Sparks cares about his patients recovery and end results and isn’t just looking to do surgeries. I am only leaving 4 stars because I have not had enough time to see if the surgery worked. But I do believe he did everything he could to help me. I would recommend Dr. Sparks to friends and family!

I went to Dr. Sparks yesterday for lower back injection for my backside and both burning down the back side,i woke up pain free this morning. Great job.

Dr sparks did my husband’s neck surgery, very professional, kind, caring, bedside manner was beyond amazing. He never makes you feel rushed, he listens. Truly a great man. He’s done my neck injections I always feel amazing afterwards. I have never left his office feeling like he didn’t answer my questions .. If you’re looking for an orthopedic surgeon trust me he’s the best in town!

When I went to Dr. Sparks I was in a tremendous amount of pain. I had a herniated disc which inhibited me from doing most of things I enjoyed. Dr. Sparks was very thorough and kind when explaining my options going forward. I decided to try the shot first which did help with the pain, however, he explained to me that it is quite possibly a temporary fix. When the pain came back I decided to do the surgery. He was very patient with all of my questions and the surgery was a success. It has been close to a year since my surgery and I only wish I had done it sooner!
