Amazing
Dr. Mouzakes is very knowledgeable and kind! I was impressed with his interaction with my son and how he took advantage of the teaching moment. The staff was very friendly too.

Both my son and daughter had tonsils, adenoids, and tubes put in by Dr Mouzakes. Dr Mouzakes was recommended to me by several nurses at my Pediatrics office in GF NY, after voicing concern about a different ENT in GF NY that I had gone to first, and did not care for. My son has severe food allergies, two allergic reaction to immunization shots in the past and asthma, so I wanted the best and had lots of concerns. I was very happy with his office staff, and the DR. himself, I thought was great. No complaints and would recommend. Our procedures were done 2014

After another ent dismissed my concerns, I was referred to dr. Mouzakes. It was a little bit of a wait to get an appointment, but that’s to be expected. Parking was a breeze and the office is so close to the garage (for Albany Med). The receptionist who checked us in was friendly, extremely helpful, and quickly checked us in. Once we saw dr. M, I was concerned another dr would dismiss me as an overreacting mom, but he didn’t. He listened closely to all my daughters symptoms and empathized with our struggle. He set us up with a plan for the next time her symptoms flare to treat her quickly. He was so kind and gentle with both my kids and his office is clearly set up for children to feel comfortable. My husband and I can’t say enough wonderful things about dr. M and his office. My only regret is not switching to his office sooner.

He was fantastic with both my sons. He was always calm and quiet, but great with the kids. He tries to solve the problem with the least medical intervention possible, but he did wind up taking my one son's tonsils and adnoids, and the same boy got tubes three times. This finally solved his chronic bilateral ear infections. The office was always very responsive to any concerns I had; that child got hearing tests every year for three years. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

“Get out! Get out of my office!” He POINTED at my sweet 6 year-old son and screamed “TAKE YOUR KID AND GET OUT OF HERE” “GET OUT OF MY OFFICE” Meanwhile my 3 year old was sitting right next to me probably terrified and my 9 month old was sitting on my lap while this grown man stood over us yelling. This guy comes off nice at first but is a monster who transforms before your eyes when you question him. Other reviews also mention him screaming at them so this appears to be a pattern for him.

Has a great way with children, makes them and their parents feel at ease. Friendly not stuffy. A total down to earth guy, Who understands you're nervous about your child's surgery and really makes you feel like a person not a number or an insurance payment. I have recommended him to many friends and family members. He's awesome.

Great doctor! He came recommended from my ped. After going to another doctor who planned on basically hacking my son's nose, I am grateful to have been directed to him. My 6 month old son had a 20 minute surgery and Dr. Mouzakes explained in detail what he was going to do and I couldn't have been happier. He is very personable and I am glad he ended up doing my son's surgery because I can only imagine what would have happened with the other doctor.

Many horrible experiences while dealing with Dr. Mouzakes. He does not listen to your concerns. Talks over you and thinks he is above you. All while continually misdiagnosing. The front staff is pretty rude too sometimes. Honestly take your child elsewhere for better care. Do not let his affiliation with Albany med sway you into thinking he is the best. It's actually quite the opposite.

My daughter has now been found twice in 2 years to have mild hearing loss, that this office has not caught despite my voice of concern. My daughter had snot coming out of her nose for the first two years of her life, and they only provided a saline spray that temporarily resolved the issues.Told me that there was no way she had allergies, finally went and saw someone else got prescribed Zyrtec with in a day and a half after use my daughter finally knows how it feels to be snot free.
