Had a total hip replacement of which I let go for several years. I was very "iffy" about Dr. Cox since he was new to Holzer and is young. My operation went very well and my healing time was amazing. Anyone considering a hip replacement should definitely see Dr. Cox. Also, I like how he explains everything in detail to you, before and after the procedure.

I was given a wrong diagnosis, coupled with a steroid injection that further complicated my injury. Even after asking multiple times if further testing should be done, I was shut down and ignored. Sought a second opinion because I knew something wasn't right. A broken bone and torn ligaments now require surgery.

Doctor Cox has done both my knee and my big toe. I have been well pleased with both surgeries and recovery times. I would highly recommend him to others and have done so.

I was a patient of Dr. Cox for a Meniscus repair. He was very caring and professional and took his time to evaluate me and make sure I understood everything before and after the surgery. I am very glad I chose him to do my surgery! His staff are wonderful as well! Great experience!

Dr. Cox was very careless with a surgery and he was very dismissal with certain severe recovery complications. Not only was he rather careless, he had incorrect information and once he was told such, he refused to even see the patient again to address what he has seriously damaged. He has done enough damage and his carelessness and horrible attitude of self righteous perfection is not the character or professionalism a doctor should have.

Dr. Cox explains your condition and all of your options clearly and with confidence. He has a great attitude and sense of humor and his assistant is very knowledgeable and friendly. With the staff and the office location in the new hospital wing, I feel I'm getting state-of-the-art care in an unintimidating and informal atmosphere.

My Grandmother fell in Columbus on a Sunday and Grant hospital wanted to keep her up there, saying Genesis didn't have anyone to do the hip surgery. My Daughter who works for Genesis got ahold of Dr. Cox because he was the on call Dr. that weekend. Dr. Cox accepted her so we had her transported back to Genesis. She is 81 and her complete support system is here. He did a great job on her hip and now 8 weeks later she is walking with a cane and doing fantastic!!! Love him!!
