Dr. Jaquelline Perlman, MD

Dr Perlman is an amazing Dr, great bed side manor, knowledgeable, thorough, and to the point. She goes above and beyond for her patients. I have known Dr Perlman for over 24years and will folllow her where ever she goes. If I move out of state I’ll make the trek to see her. I can’t thank her enough for helping bring my 3 Beautiful children (daughters) into this world. She has a beautiful sole inside and out.

I really liked Dr. Perlman. She was very friendly. She answered all of my concerns in detail. And asked several times if there were any other questions. This made it easy for me to ask her any questions I had. I thought she was very thorough, and was concerned about my comfort. I'm glad I found her.

I went to Dr. Perlman after my OBGYN retired. I had been on the same plan for years that worked well for me but Dr. Perlman seemed very upset with the way my previous doctor treated me. Then, her office never responded to a question from my pharmacy so my medication was delayed weeks. She did the same to a family member who also saw her.

17 Years and 2 children with this angel! I would not trade her for ANYTHING! She IS AWESOME!

Dr. Perlman has been my doctor for a few years now. I am confused by the negative reviews. I have always found her to be personable, knowledgeable, and kind. I came to Dr. Perlman after being misdiagnosed by another doctor. Dr. Perlman immediately and accurately diagnosed my issue and has helped me to stay on top of my health. I have found her to be very thorough. My previous doctor was extremely sweet, conversational, and gentle, but she had no idea what she was doing. Give me a doctor with Dr. Perlman's knowledge and experience any day. My health is certainly the better for it.

Dr Periman did not really have a personable or friendly manner, or create a connection. This may not be important to many, but when you are discussing intimate and personal issues I think it is. She did not seem interested in 'unmedical' aids I had found helpful. She had quite prescriptive, limited and immobile offerings. Did not seem to think outside the box at all.

Dr. Perlman asked me about my period and became visibly irritable when I could not give her exact dates about a period many months prior. She needed to do a biopsy. I asked questions. Her manner was abrupt and aggressive, perhaps not on purpose, but very unreassuring. I asked if it would be painful and she said it would feel like pinching. She said I could take an over the counter pain medication, but it would take time to work. I skipped because she seemed dismissive about it. I had to sign a consent form, half undressed, still on the examining bed, using a pen with no gloves and no access to hand sanitizer. In the middle of COVID. The biopsy was extremely painful. More pain than I have ever felt. After, I was in a cold sweat and literally in shock. She and the nurse left and I just lay there. No one came back to check on me. Back in the car I collapsed in uncontrollable sobs. Reading up about it, this experience is not unusual. I would never return to her.

I saw dr. Pearlman for the first time on March 7th 2019. She was awesome, she put me at ease after I told her I had many bad experiences with Gyn doctors, she renewed my faith in GYN doctors they can be gentle and caring.

Great Doctor, I have been going to her for the past 5 years and never had an issue, great knowledge and very sincere. Office is very clean and staff member are great!

Tactless and unprofessional. Performs unnecessary and painful procedures. Prolongs appointment times in order to bill more from insurance. Highly unethical. Lacks common sense about patient privacy.

Frankly, I'm bewildered by the negative reviews here. I saw Dr. Perlman for the first time last week, and she was wonderful. She took the time to consult with me both before and after my appointment, asked very thoughtful questions about my medical history, and her exam was thorough but quick. I enjoyed her no-nonsense-- but warm--demeanor. Her office staff was professional and pleasant, and although I did have to wait, I'm happy to do so for an experienced and compassionate doctor!

Dr. Perlman was rude and disrespectful before, during, and after the physical exam. She literally ignored me when I walked into her office, was condescending when I didn't know the answer to a question she posed, and then later proceeded to give me a boilerplate lecture on condoms when I asked to discuss birth control pills and IUDs. Most disarmingly, she was rough with me during our physical exam and told me that if I would "just relax" it would be easier for me.
