My new Dr, Dr Tan
I was referred to Dr Tan by my pain management doctors. She explained my condition in detail, with handout and explained what can be done to correct it. I had trigger finger in both hands, one required surgery the other just a shot. I was able to make my appointment quickly and both my hands were fixed by the time I left. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by a very nice and compassionate gentleman, I can't remember his name..my nurse Jerry Lynn, to my anesthesiologist Jackie, all were extremely kind, respectful and moreover compassionate. I got a call the day after surgery by Mary to see how I was doing and answer all my questions and concerns. I'll be back in a 2 weeks for my follow up, There was some discomfort but to be expected after a surgery. I'm very pleased with my progress and my new doctor.

AWESOME PROVIDER
Dr. Tan was very thorough with her exam and explaining my issue. She also provided handouts of what she was explaining for my review. She gave me a treatment the same day without making me schedule another appointment for treatment like other doctors. And she has excellent personality and attitude. I would go again and recommend her to my friends and family.

Amazing options
It’s beyond me, a Deaf person, to express my gratitude in given a choice of a Remote Video Interpreter or In Person interpreter; my preference was “In person”. THANK YOU, Resurgens Orthopedics!

Office Visit
Dr. Tan was knowledgeable of my condition with my finger. She explained options to relieve the pain and help condition. Previous records from 14 years ago, for same condition for left thumb guided our decision for least invasive. Highly recommend her for any joint and flex issue concerning fingers.

I came to Dr. Tan with extreme pain in my thumb joint that connects to my wrist. A year and a half prior to my appointment with Dr. Tan I had a joint replacement in the same thumb joint by another orthopedic surgeon. My hand continued to have chronic pain and swelling after the surgery. I decided to have a second opinion. I discovered Dr. Tan on the internet. She removed the replacement and repaired my hand. I have full use of my thumb and hand. Most of all I have no pain!

She did surgery on my Elbow and it still is hurting after 11 months. After my surgery she told me to rub the site to desensitize my elbow. I did and something moved and I told her git she just sent me to therapy. My appointment yesterday she was running two hours behind and nobody lets you know.

The office staff was polite and helpful. Dr Tan knew what she was talking about, and spent a long time explaining my condition to me. Even gave me alot of written information about my problem. She made me feel very comfortable (I'm usually anxious around doctors), and that she would take good care of me. I liked her alot because she's so smart and compassionate. I would certainly reccomend her to anyone who needs to see a hand and upper exteremity surgeon for sure.

I'm unsure why the hand specialist even did my ankle surgery. Nonetheless, Dr Tan has ruined my chances of ever having a normal life. A year after she put plates and screws in my broken ankle I had to have surgery to get them removed and found out that she accidentally cut my nerve in my leg. I had discussed the pain with her numerous times and she did not listen so I stopped seeing her. I am certain she knew she did this, a two hour surgery ended up being seven hours. Awful awful. Shame on u!
