He cut a major nerve in my neck and didn't apologize. I will suffer for the rest of my life because of this injury. He was very clueless about what needed to be done 30 minutes prior to my surgery. He refused to meet me before surgery & I refused to do surgery unless he came to see me. It was obvious I was just a paycheck to him. He wouldn't give me nerve pain medicine after my injury, nor a laxative so I wound up in the emergency room with sever constipation. My experience at Mayo Clinic was horrific. I would recommend going anywhere else but here.

DR JAN;WAS FANTASTIC;HE FULLY EXPLAINED MY OPTIONS FOR Muco Epidermoid Carcinoma.He was very encouraging that he could go for a total cure in a 7 hour operation.I agreed.He and his team made me feel less threatened by the disease and gave me confidence in their ability to give me a cure.They succeded in a total cure with great flollow up over the next year.Dr Kasperbauer and staff,I am extremely thankful and grateful for my great care I received from all for a years time frame.

Dr. Kasperbauer is a brilliant practitioner and surgeon. I found him to be personable with a wry sense of humor. His explanation of the surgery and description of the risks were thorough. I could not have asked for a better outcome for a difficult procedure.

Dr. Kasperbauer is very experienced and knowledgeable. We heard good reviews both on-line and from his fellow doctors regarding his surgical skills. However his patient interview skills are very lacking. Our questions were met with a snappy, "I answered that already!" He had no patience for exploring other options and was openly disdainful of his fellow physicians who offered alternatives to the invasive, 100 year old procedure that he proffered. Good surgeon... LOUSY bedside manner.

I found Dr. Kasperbauer to be professional and compassionate. He is obviously confident and highly skilled and yet humble. I also appreciated that he had an appropriate sense of humor. As I deal with challenging health issues, a bit of humor can lighten the mood and help to keep things in perspective. I feel fortunate to be in Dr. Kasperbauer's care, he is not only a highly skilled physician but a beautiful human being.
