Dr. Jamshid Niknam, MD

Dr. JAMSHID Niknam is a colleague of Dr. DANIEL Niknam, who is my provider in skilled nursing, highly recommended.

Never met the guy - I was just assigned to him when I joined Health Net. I went to meet him at his office for the purpose of a referral to an orthopeadic specialist. I only met with a person who identified themselves as a nurse and was told he generally DOES NOT SEE patients. I never did get a referral and only got bad advice. I called six times over last three weeks to see where the next step on referral would be, no answer, no follow-up to my messages. Now I have to start the process all over again with a new MD. I recommend that you do not use this guy - if he even exists.

3 months have not seem by Dr. Niknam. Always a nurse practitioner.

Fabulous pulmonologist who saved my father's life nearly 10 years ago. We were traveling back from Hawaii and needed to stop in LA as my father was very weak. Upon admittance to Centinela, he was treated by a team of physicians including Dr. Niiknam. They prescribed an antibiotic that ultimately saves his life and after 16 days in ICU he was released. Highly Recommend. I will never forget the tremendous care and treatment.

Prescribed a second medication to take with the first. Both do the same thing. Insurance company called and said taking both was dangerous. Said they would make referrals to specialists. Never made the referrals. Prescribed horse pill medication even after I said I had difficulty swallowing. Seemed to lack knowledge and sympathy for my condition. Saw only the Assistant, never the actual doctor.

Dr. Niknam is the most knowledgeable doctors I know. He is a man of great integrity and dignity. He is literally a life saver. It seems he is always on call and ready to help anybody in need. Thank you for everything you do, Dr. Niknam.

I had a pleasant experience. I first was seen by Dr. Niknam's PA who was very compassionate and thorough. And then Dr. Niknam made sure I understood everything and had all my questions answered. I would recommend to anyone.

I was relieved to not wait too long after such a rough day. Dr. Niknam's PA Truc was patient to hear everything I had to say and responded with great amount of care. There wasn't an issue and I appreciate their services.

Saw Dr. Niknam's PA Tru. She was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable and thorough with her evaluation. It is very comforting to see someone take their time to care for you and and explain what is happening and why. Very friendly and also professional at the same time. There are no complaints here! :)

I took my mom to her appointment with Dr. Niknam and I was very pleased. The staff was polite and accommodating and Dr. Niknam was very thorough talking with my mom and I. His NP, I believe her name was Truc, was very sweet and easy to talk to as well. You can tell she really cares about her patients!
