Good for Your Lungs
Staff was efficient, friendly, and professional. Dr Yu was thorough and took his time with the examination and getting to know me. Explanation was backed by paperwork for reference and referral for scan/lab tests.

Help for my Bad Lungs – Jun 11, 2022

Due to the fact that I live 3/4 of the year in Germany and three months here in Camarillo, Dr. Yu informed me that arrangements can be made whereas we could have video consultations related to my use of the CPAP machine and the pro's and con's of my progress.

Dr. George Yu offered me a clinical trial of REGENCOV-2 since I had COVID 19 with very mild symptoms. It was presented to me that all this would be at no cost, and he never mentioned billing insurance or having to pay for anything out of pocket. Later I was then sent a bill for a phone consult AND for the infusion totaling more than $400. Is this a predatory practice to trick people who are suffering from COVID19 so he can profit from their misfortunes? Should I not advise anyone to do business with him? There was never any mention from him about having to pay out of pocket, or attempting to bill insurance. He boasted "This is the same infusion the President received" trying to sell it like a used car dealer, and said that if I didn't get it right away, it would no longer be available to me. I tried speaking with his office personnel and separate billing dept. re. the charges. Neither would budge on reducing or writing off the amount billed and would send it to collections if not paid.

Dr Yu is an excellent and thorough physician. He's very caring and will take the time to listen and to solve difficult problems. Both my husband and I see him. He's probably too kind to be a great manager is the staff problems & sometimes a wait to see him. He's worth it.

Dr. Yu is absolutely wonderful. He's clearly knowledgeable and is professional as well as compassionate in his approach. He does a great job of explaining the issues at hand, and listens well to patient questions and input. I highly recommend Dr. Yu. Regrettably, the office staff seem to be missing-in-action most of the time. They do not return phone calls (even those directly from my primary care physician) which is highly troubling, inconvenient, and frankly egregious.

Both visits were unsatisfactory. Waite times were 50 mins. And 20 mins., past my appointed sceadualed appointment. girls were very uninviting. Both times I never received a call to remind me about the appointment. I shared my frustration with Dr. Yu about this; he however, made no appologies. He is a poor communicator, and has poor listening skills. I felt unimportant and unheard. Also apparently he only takes appointments Monday thru Wednesday now. Last in first out attitude

Horrible Office. Miserable Employees. Horrendous wait times when youre the ONLY patient. God Doctor but not worth the awful wait experience and unprofessional way of running the practice. Find a better place.
