Dr. James Zelch, MD

Pointed out all the problems and seemed like he did not care, did not answer to any of my question. After seeing the nurse, I waited another 35 minutes in the room to see him 3 minutes. The only answer I got from him is an appointment in 3 months. The worst family Dr I have ever seen.

All he cares about is getting paid doesn't care about patients need

The fact that Dr.Z explains issues to understand them clearly. Nothing but professional care for me and my wife. The Dr. Cares and is why he has a office where it is. Absolutely ,would recommend Dr.Zelch. I have returned to the area and will be making my appointment shortly. I hope the same receptionists are employed there. Make your own determinations,some of the reviews are not correct or honest. Dr.Zelch more than likely turned down their requests for narcotics I'll bet. He is very thorough and very professional because of angry folks like these. Some bad reviews are just not true amd iys sad to do some one this way. Just sad. Have a great day.

Bad attitude....Find someone who cares about your health and not your bank account!!

One of his staff stole a 10 dollar voucher from me the first day i went. He hires the most bottom of the barrel people he can find. All his staff left at the end of the day in one car. Filthy office, long wait times, confusion about who I was. I only know his staff leaves in the same vehicle because they forgot about me in the room you see the doctor in and kicked me out at the end of the day. This place is for drug addicts on medicaid or medicare. They run tons of tests and blood work every time you go so they can rack up bills for insurance. Best case scenario you get drugs you don't need because this doctor 100% does not care. Worst case scenario you'll get aids or some other blood disease from them not cleaning things they stick you with. And this doctor is not paying attention to anything he does at all, he just wants to know what pills you want. His staff is probably the crew of a McDonald's that closed down and he swooped them up and brought them into the medical field.

Was transferred to Dr. James Zelch after my prior PCP passed away - had initial consultation, and he is a personable guy- had a tendency to skoff but I didn't think anything of it. -I don't have enough characters to tell the entire story, but - he didn't follow up like he said he would - didn't take any responsibility for his mistake, and when I called him on it - he said "he wasn't going to argue with me" and that "he wasn't goin to do this with me" I don't like to leave negative review, but I feel it is the right thing to do to let the public at large know about the apathy and lack of ownership when there is a problem -I will be filing a complaint with the Florida board of health

He’s a drug dealer with a white coat at his location in Clawson and he would only take cash my daughter is a pretty obvious addict to Adderall and he fed it to her like it was candy. I’m hoping praying that someone found out about him and how he’s killing people.

I’m so glad I found Dr. Zelch. I am new to Michigan and was in need of a good primary doctor to help with a pre-existing condition. Dr. Zelch listened to me, his staff was beyond kind and friendly and made sure I was comfortable. Wait time was very minimum.

Very helpful in helping my mother with her numerous health issues that went untreated because they were unknown. Thank God and Doctor Zelch !

Simply wonderful place. Doctor cares and explains everything. His staff care about you and show it. Love my MD and crew for many years ????

Shockingly horrible experience.

Horrible doctor, stay clear of him. I went to him as a primary care doctor and switched after a few months. He literally doesn’t care about what your in there for and is just trying to get you out of the room. The pee/saliva testing makes you feel like a criminal. Everything about this doctor is unprofessional. He needs to be reported he’s just a prescription pusher.

I saw Dr. Zelch 2014-2015 and left because of insurance clange . The last 2 years saw an internal medicine doc. I am back with Dr. Zelch. I feel taken care of with him. I have multiple medical issues big and small. He makes sure everything my insurance offers at no extra fee is either done in his office or he writes a referral. He offers lab services from his office. If I’m sick he writes me scripts without wasting my time with over the counter nonsense. He actually listens to me, which I like.

Extremely unreliable. This doctor refuses to pay for professional services rendered to his office. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on his medical acumen, but if he treats his patients anything like he treats his professional vendors, I would steer clear.

Only avail. 2 days/wk & appt. lasts 1-3 hours!! Nurse checks vitals, Dr listens to heart & I pee in cup, So mostly that time is in the crowded waitroom. After being seen, I wait for drug test results b4 receiving my RX. At my 1st appt, a saliva sample was taken "to make sure Im not doing anything Im not supposed to". Umm.. Im a 28yo 1st time mom. I dont drink/smoke but legally could if I so choose. Also not on drugs but still bothered by being treated as a criminal each month. This is why left!

This is the most unprofessional Dr office I have ever been to. The doctor tried giving me antidepressants for sleep and when I told him I didn't want anti depressant he said we were pretty much out of options lol do not go to this quack!

This guy is in it for the money. His office is really dirty and he takes any chance to bill you. Avoid at all costs. The receptionist is also really bad...I tried to get something re-billed with a correct code and they just ignored me for months until I just had to pay it to avoid going to collections.

I'm sorry will not be goin. Back to his office the front desk girls are horrible with attitudes plus I was scheduled an appointment I did not make so there for I received an $30 bill rediculas. I would not recommend!!

I just moved to Clawson from Florida- picked Dr. Zelch as my family doctor. I gave the office all the info on my prescriptions- Dr. said he would order them- I called 3 times and talked to the office staff because they had them screwed up- asked them 2 x to call me back and let me know when it was straightened out. They never did- after 15 days I switched doctors- The staff has no clue-
