Exceptional!
Dr Weis performed a laminectomy and discectomy in 2010; 14 years later I am still very active and pain free with minor exceptions usually from over exertion. He and his PA were excellent to interact with. Thorough and thoughtful. Highly recommend him.

Back Fusion
I have the highest regard for Dr Weis, in his bedside manor, as well as his unparalleled skilled as surgeon. He has returned me from disabled, to fully abled. The complex Fusion surgery was 100% successful. The most caring doctor I have ever seen. Words cannot express my appreciation to Dr. Weis. Thank youKen Deem

Gave me quality of life for 20 years
Dr Weis told me how my back surgery (that he successfully did 19 years ago ) should be revised for my current debilitating condition. I am sad that he no longer operates. Three different surgeons had 3 different methods, and even more doctors were not confident in doing anything. I am grateful that Dr. Weis is so caring and only semi retired, so as to give me guidance going forward as to how my back should be fixed and who is qualified to do it. He is a tough act to follow with decades of experience and a wonderful personality!

Back pain
Dr Weis took his time to try to determine what was causing my major back pain. Dr Weis was very intensive and had order additional testing to try to narrow down the cause of my pain

Caring
Saw Dr. Weiss as a second opinion. He spent a lot of time with me and answered all of my questions, which my current doctor hasn’t. Very grateful that he saw me and was so caring.

BEST BACK DOC EVER!!!!
I had an L4-L5 fusion & laminectomy along with significant "roto-rootering" around my lumbar joints in 2017. It is now 2023 and I still have NO leg tingling/numbness/pain and NO issues (except arthritis which I knew about prior!). Dr. Weis saved me from 15 years of bilateral leg symptoms. I am SO happy I found him!

My third opinion for Spinal surgery
I met Dr. James Weis Sept 7th for the first time. He took the time to explain why I needed the surgery on my spine area and also showed me what he was going to do. I felt comfortable with his explanation and decided while I was there that I would like him to do my surgery. I had seen 2 other doctors with different opinions, but I really didn't know much about them. One of my physical therapists and one doctor assistant and a family member that had the same surgery said Dr. Weis was an excellent surgeon and all 3 of them said they would highly recommend him. That made me feel that I was in good hands.

Dr. Weis is an exceptional surgeon. He is very pleasant and has excellent communicational skills. His quality of surgical skills can not be matched. The Dr. operated recently on my spine due to my having extreme Spinal Stenosis and I could not be more pleased with the results. Additionally, he truly cares very much about his patients.

EXCELLENT DOCTOR
Moved to Florida in August but I found out just before moving to Florida that I needed another back surgery. After looking for surgeon reviews, I wanted Dr. Weiss to do my second back operation as well. Returned to PA for an expected six week stay. Was released two weeks after surgery to return to Florida. In about a week, I was walking distances 10 times longer than I was able to do over the past year.
