Dr Sear had a six bypass procedure he did with my mother and it came out perfect he told us he would fix the quality of her life for at least 10 years could be 15 and he done a great job she end up living 18 more years after open heart surgery six bypass so I would say I would give him five stars.

Excellent Physician
I've been a patient for about 12 years now. He always takes the time to discuss your issues and never rushes through an appointment. He responds very promptly to messages. He is one of two doctors that I would follow to any local practice.

Seen him once and he put me on a high dose diuretic with no potassium. Because of this, my potassium levels went to critically low levels and I ended up in the hospital multiple times to try to get things back normal. My blood pressure also increased a lot, which, instead of him realizing his error, he wanted to diagnose me with HBP when in reality it was having potassium levels that could’ve killed me because of him. I’d never had any issues with either (potassium or BP). Thankfully I found a qualified, caring cardiologist who could get me back to as normal as possible. If you choose to go to Dr Sear, I’d recommend that you also have another cardiologist to check everything he says and does. I would definitely NOT recommend him and have reported him and this situation to St Luke’s.

Dr Sear is an excellent cardiologist who always takes the time to address all my concerns. I became a patient of Dr. Sear when I was admitted to St. Luke’s South Hospital and spent five days in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit with congestive heart failure. After 21 months as Dr. Sear’s patient, tests revealed I no longer had congestive heart failure and my ejection factor had improved from a very low to normal range. I am so thankful that I was under the care of Dr. Sear, Cardiovascular Consultants, and Saint Luke’s South Hospital which made it possible for me to achieve such a positive outcome. I am not sure I would have achieved those positive results elsewhere.

Dr Sear is more than a doctor, he is a great friend. He goes above and beyond the norm in being interested in keeping me healthy. I learned today that he has moved to another practice. I am so sad to lose his service. I'm hoping I can find out where he went so maybe continue my care with him.
