I had a Cardiac Arrest in April of 2019. I was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Hospital, were I met Dr. Bloom. He has been great in working with my situation. He has gone to great lengths to discover the cause of my Myocardiopathy. He follows up every lead and is near the top of his game.

My visit was a six month checkup with Dr. Bloom that included a check of my Pacemaker. In addition I received an EKG and then a personal consultation with Dr. Bloom which I appreciated. Following my annual physical with Dr. Kamerzell in February, I will be sending Dr. Bloom a copy of my Lab Report. Next visit will be in December, 2020 unless needed before hand.

I’m firmly convinced that I am alive today because I got Dr Bloom for a cardiologist assigned to me while I was in the hospital. I survived a v-fib attack and had 5-10% of my heart function. I came out of the hospital with better heart function than an average person and am still in good shape 2 years later. Dr Bloom and his associates are 100% of the reason why. I also owe a big thank you to Jo. Co. Medact for bringing me back from the dead during the vfib episode because when they got there I wasn’t breathing and my brain was going downhill fast. Those guys and women are something special or I would be pushing daisies. Thanks Dr Bloom and the ambulance crew for allowing me some time to enjoy my grandkids and my life for a while longer. Really, thank you.

I was recently diagnosed with CAD and have been under Dr. Bloom's care. I believe he is incredibly talented and I wouldn't hesitate to put my heart care in his hands. However as one other respondent pointed out, he is no nonsense and to the point. If you want to chit chat, forget about it. And if you want him to discuss your concerns or answer questions in a little more detail you'll have to make him stand still long enough to do it. Those things aside, I have great faith in his ability.

Dr. Bloom took excellent care of my husband after being admitted to hospital with chest pain. Diagnostic tests were ordered immediately through Dr. Bloom and it was because of his preciseness and attention to detail that my husband is alive and well. Dr. Bloom is no-nonsense and to the point but he knows what he is doing. Would highly recommend Dr. Bloom to anyone looking for the best in cardiac care.
