I am posting this from London in England, after a short visit to New York to see my 88 year old aunt who is a patient of Dr Hollenberg's. I could not say enough about how impressed I was by his kindness, pastoral care and professionalism, and I feel very reassured that my aunt is in such good hands.

Extraordinarily caring.My aunt,his patient,is not the most compliant patient. He called her recently to follow-up on concerns about a recent visit - including his worry she wouldn't follow-up. He couldn't reach her - he contacted me to enlist my help. He asked me when he most likely can reach her by phone - 'Can I call her at 9pm?' I was stunned -- most doctors won't spend 5 minutes, but he asks permission to call her late on his personal time. He keeps a close caring eye on his patients.
