Went in for Tinnitus, set me up for sleep study!
Went in to address tinnitus issues. He was professional and checked my ENT and then wanted to set me up for a sleep study! Explained again why I was there and he wanted me to do a hearing test which I was told was part of the apt. Trying to do so they said I had to go back because it was NOT setup. Went back next day, they tried to double-bill me. After test I was advised DR would call for followup and to reschedule. Nothing. 2 weeks and I called office. Asked to speak with DR. He had to call me back. Rec call 2hrs later. I was advised that I have damaged nerve endings and there was nothing I could do about the tinnitus. No procedures, process, attempt made to even try. I asked about a few other things and asked if he wanted to schedule me to see what could be done. He said no. 'Your brain will get use to the sound and mask it out. There is nothing further you can do.' He bid me a good day. First time I have every had a so-called DR not try and help with their primary practice training

Dr Barna did not explain any procedures before performing them. He recommended further testing after a 2 sentence explanation of what appeared to be the problem and recommended medication without discussing any other possible strategies. No bedside manner at all. Very disappointed.

Dr. Barna was very professional and caring, his staff is rushed and incompetent. 1 month after a first time appointment there has been no follow up for orders placed for cpap or results of CT sinuses obtained at office. Multiple calls and staff is more interested in getting you off the call then problem solving. $420 and 1 month later, I am no better off than before my visit. No follow up or offer to problem solve after multiple calls since I have not heard back about orders placed or CT results. Last call I was told to call the Home Care/ DME company which I did and they never received the orders. Now I have to make my 4 th call back to them, waiting a response.

I had an appointment for 10 AM on March 3rd. I don't mind the doctor being a few minutes late, but when they double book patients that is not right. I had another doctor's appointment booked for that day. I saw the doctor 2 weeks earlier and receptionist insisted on making the appointment on Friday the 3rd even though we had the other appointment. I have a small business and time is very valuable to me. I don't have a few hours to spend at a doctor's office because they want to double book. After waiting app 40 minutes we asked receptionist how far behind he was. We were informed that there was one other person ahead of me and not to book any other appointments the day I see Dr. Barna because it could take a while at the Trinity office. He likes to get everybody into see him. We did like him and thought he was a good doctor, but if he is going to double book I have second thoughts. I will try the Countryside office even though it is further for me to drive .

I had nose polyp surgery. The staff was great. I didn't have any post bleeding and as soon as the packing was removed, I felt great. Everything went smooth.

I had an appointment to have my ears checked for a hearing aid. I was pressured to sign a release for an endoscopy before being seen. I waited for more than an hour past my scheduled appointment. No reason was given for the delay. I finally left without ever having seen the doctor.

Dr. Barna has been a lifesaver for me. I have been working with him for the last 9 months on diagnosing problems I have had with recurrent mouth sores. He was smart enough to order me to stop all medications to try to find out what the cause of my problem was and turns out one of the causes was a medication I was taking for migraines. He is very caring and accommodates me when I call for an appointment. He and his staff have been great.
