Dr. Julia Pfaff, DO

The surgery that Dr Pfaff performed on me was complex and unusual. The attention to detail, the thorough explanation of the process, and the continued follow up was and is comforting and informative. The six inch scar is almost unnoticeable.

Dr Pfaff performed my Inspire implantation as recommended by the office of Dr Jeremy McConnell. (Regina, PA) The surgery went great and I received two after surgery calls from Dr Pfaff’s office to check on my progress. I literally had no problems. I know several people in my community (Riverstrand) who have also used Dr Pfaff and have been equally pleased. I highly recommend Dr Pfaff and the sleep specialists in Dr McConnells office if you are considering Inspire. No more tubes. No more cleaning. No more ordering supplies every month. No more carrying the cpap machine with me when I travel. This has been a 100% game changer for me!

Worst decision! Inspire Sleep has virtually destroyed my life. May 11,2022 Dr. Pfaff did a wonderful surgery. Upon follow up, she told me she was “Pumped”. I was extremely hopeful and excited then the bottom fell out. Dr. Pfaff Sent me to an incompetent doctor whom was learning on the fly by the name Kunal Agarwal in Sarasota. Under his pathetic care, I inherited the following, Check the boxes: Central sleep apnea Hospice breathing, AKA Cheyne Stokes Respirations, Atrial fibrillation, Thoracic aortic aneurysm, Restless legs syndrome, Insomnia, Anxiety, Depression, Suicidal Ideations,… I think you get the picture. They basically effed up big time. My brain is awake every minute of the night I have become a totally different man, restless, irritable, discontented after being told that there is no therapeutic setting available on Inspire sleep that will help me. Unresponsive is the best I can say. Tried for 1 year to get a return call or email. Nothing. I heard she performs Inspire sleep apnea device from my sleep Dr. I tried over and over to contact her and after a year I had to get another sleep study. This time the Dr. recommended Dr. Julia Paff and I said no, I am not putting my body in the hands of a team so unresponsive. Could not image after care. I continued with another local Dr. recommended.

***Addendum to my May 17, 2021 review*** Originally, I was supposed to have a single Parathyroidectomy, but a test result showed that I had Thyroid Cancer. Dr. Pfaff did an outstanding job on both my single Parathyroidectomy and total Thyroidectomy. Her minimally invasive surgical technique left no visible scar and allowed me to keep the remaining three Parathyroids. A few weeks after the procedure, I noticed my stamina gradually returned to a level commensurate with my age. I highly recommend Dr. Julia Pfaff because she is a most excellent surgeon and genuinely cares about her patients!

I'll start off by saying that Dr. Pfaff appears to be a very kind woman. She recently had performed parathyroid surgery on me which was unsuccessful. I understand things don't always work out! I was on a short time frame of about a month before my deductible was to renew which I had met. I know this is not her problem, however, this failure is going to cost me thousands of dollars. I was told at my follow up that a second surgery would be possible before the sunset of my deductible. I called numerous times and never recieved a call back as well as emailed twice. 22 days later from follow up I receive a call back wanting to reschedule test. This left me seven days to get test performed and surgery scheduled. Impossible! I'm a Firefighter who doesn't have a huge disposable income so paying more is a devastating! Her staff with the exception of the nurse that checks your vitals and her P.A. are very miserable people with unfriendly attitudes! I feel I was given false with no remorse!

Although Dr. Pfaff seems to be a competent doctor the staff at her office is the worst, especially the lazy, rude nurse that one must deal with when you have questions and concerns. Unfortunately, doctors' offices are TEAMS and when one player is weak, it brings down the entire team. Choose another office!

Well she's an amazing person who truly cares about her patients and how amazing that she choice the right type of practice.as a man am very thankful for Miss julia Pfaff to had help me with my thyroid surgery.i would definitely recommend miss julia pfaff.God really does choice the right doctors for people..God Bless You Miss Julia Pfaff
