No longer my doctor
I was Dr. Patel's patient for two years and saw her only once on my initial visit. All of my other appointments were with her nurse practitioner.

I felt rushed and Dr. Patel wasn't the person I saw after the first visit. She had me see her nurse practioner who turned out to be out of network for meDespite the fact that she is in network. I feel like I was tricked

Great Pulmonologist
Dr. Patel is very compassionate, informative & answered any questions I had related to my most recent health scare. She was very optimistic about my recovery leaving me feeling at ease!

Doesn't listen
Dr. Patel did not consider my history, education, and feelings about my condition. She did not want to listen, cut me off, and bullied me into medication I should NEVER take. I've had this condition most of my life. I know what I can do to manage my 'episodes' and what my body can NOT handle. Some doctors want to force prednisone on you and it's NOT a cure-all.

Rude, only wanted to focus on my weight, wasn't at all concerned about what I actually came there for. Didn't review any of my past labs or test history, but tried to send me out for the very same tests that were done less than a month prior.

Dr Patel was a godsend..I was in Cardiac Arrest,then went into A-Fib,and Pulmonary arrest.My body was shutting down.She came into my crisis Knew Exactly what Med's to change and what to do! My numbers started to reverse within 45 minutes and I was able to proceed with the stent operation.Without Dr Patel I would not be able to respond to this survey! THANK YOU DR FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.. Your The Best!
