Never asked how I was feeling. Aggressive and rude, practically barking at me. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend. You should NOT treat your new patients this way!!!

During my visit, he was rude, unprofessional, unknowledgeable about my referral, and abrasive. Ordered unnecessary X-rays. If your Doc recommends this guy, RUN AWAY and ask for another Rheumatologist.

Dr Ivan is always very helpful and listens to you. He is very knowledgeable and always willing to try to alleviate your pains

Dr. Marchena has been taking care of me for a number of years. He is definitely up to date on me when I have a visit. He spends enough time to make sure we have discussed all my questions, reviewed tests together, etc. I would not be able to enjoy such pain free activities if was wasn’t for his expertise. He his a very kind and caring doctor.

Dr Marchenna is one of the most caring, responsive physicians I have had the pleasure to trust with my health. He has called in a prescription when I was suddenly in awful pain while out of town, keeps up with any diagnosis & prescriptions from any other doctor, successfully battled my Medicare Prescription plan when they refused a prescription he wrote for me - charging over $600 for a 90 day supply (paid $3 as a result). He sits down on a stool at my level, looks me straight in the face, listens and questions symptoms and explains everything thoroughly even when it’s the second time. Patient, empathetic, great sense of humor that immediately puts you at ease. I trust his judgement even though I ask a lot of questions and sometimes cannot answer his. He uses touch on sensitive painful areas as a means of evaluating pain level and effectiveness of medications. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their specialist.

He was great as always. Has always been pleasant and makes me laugh, even when delivering not great news. He gets an “A”.
