Dr, Durrence
I have been seeing Dr. Durrance for most of my adult life. He brings knowledge of a Pharmacist and MD expertise which is very rare. He is also very clear about making sure you are following basic yearly checkups IE. Eye, Dentist, Colonoscopy, Dermatologist. He is not and "in & out" Doctor, he takes time with you and very detailed of what he wants you to do. If you have to wait a little longer to see him only means he is spending the needed time with another patient. I can appreciate that attention to detail..

He is too busy now. Had him for years and he is a good doctor but can't get a call back for days now. Never able to get a staff person on the phone to talk to when I call either. leaving.

Dr Durrence’s background as a pharmacist prior to becoming an MD is invaluable in knowing what drugs to prescribe, while not over subscribing. His patience, demeanor, and sense of humor combine to make him the kind of physician that many of us believed no longer exist... or, at the very least, are a rarity.

I love Dr. Durrence and his office staff is exceptional. He knows his stuff and is very caring...I am 70 and in pretty good health but see him every 3 months for check in. He listens and takes time. Sometimes I have to wait a bit to see him but I get the same care the person before me did...he never rushes through...I get calls back and his nurse is great about refills.

I have been seeing this office for about 18 years. They are very concerned about the health and welfare of their clients. I am glad that my care is not based on the time spent in a waiting room or with the doctor. All of my concerns are addressed in a visit with my Provider. If the Provider is running late, then the person before me required some more time and it is not a reflection of my care. It is a reflection of their concern for another more complicated patient. The staff are very nice, and all care about doing a good job to serve and answer to my needs. Healthcare has changed tremendously over the past decades and requires the MD to have ancillary staff in any practice, and this office has the most professional.

I have had it with the wait times at this doctors office. Every time I come I have to wait over an hour. I am officially finding a new doctor.

In October of 2015, I came down with the shingles virus. I have never had a major illness, and only been to Dr Durrence for checkups. His PA was flippant, condescending, and often took up to 2 weeks to return calls. When calling the office to get script refills, I was yelled at one time and hung up on another time. Very unprofessional behavior! Mostly you see a PA unless you are a research subject. Good luck in dealing with this very poorly run office!
