As a 30-year-old, I can not recommend Dr Hurley to anybody. He wanted to see me every 30 days for Primary Care! He thought I had Asthma.... He referred me to a Pulmonologist, who said I have great lungs. He thought I had a heart murmur or a kidney stone (a flake of dust on the scan) and said that I was underweight when everyone in my family was slender. He told me to drink a whey protein shake every day... I found out that I can't consume dairy. On top of it all, he does not listen and repeats himself... every... 30... days... that I saw him. As someone who wants to be health conscious, he practically scarred me mentally from wanting to see another doctor. Thank goodness I have found a better PCP.

Finally someone that cares
Dr. Hurley is by far one of the best doctors in town, his name is so well-known around charleston. One thing I really like is how patient he's with his patients, and not only that how educated he is and he doesn't mind lecturing you about something you may have a question about. He only wants to see his patients happy and healthy.

Dr. Hurley was the thirteenth doctor I had seen in the past four years. I had a handful of diagnoses but no treatment solved the problem. Dr Hurley listened, thoroughly explained what he thought was happening and outlined a treatment. It’s been two weeks since my first visit with him and I am pain-free for the first time in four years. It is a life changing outcome and I am so grateful to Dr. Hurley for his knowledge and concern. I also want to commend his very competent office staff for working quickly to get a new patient appointment for me. Many thanks to Dr. Hurley!

My experience with Dr. Hurley has been nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Hurley has guinuine care for his patients which is refreshing; Especially in an industry that nowadays main concern is meeting quotas. He is totally focused on his patients and has a deep care and concern for their well-being. He will take the time to answer all of your questions. As a result he is someone I trust and do not second-guess and he will tell you if he thinks you need another opinion. This may cause some of

Extremely thorough with diagnosis and educating the patient. He is not bashful when it he feels a specialist is needed for better care. With a shared practice, other doctors allow quality care for unexpected issues requiring urgent care when Dr Hurley is fulfilling his continuing education requirements.. With a medical business, doctors face complicated issues which often require they spend unplanned time providing necessary care. All issues are not resolved iin 20.375 minutes!

I have been going to Dr. Hurley's practice for over 4 years and I would not think of going anywhere else. Dr. Hurley is very personable with his treatment and believes in a truly holistic, full-body approach to medicine. He does not try to fix everything by giving you medications but instead tries other approaches first. He also listens to what you have to say. And if an emergency arises, he will do everything he can to see you that day even if it means staying late or opening early. He truly ca
