Great Physician
Dr. Coker has an easy manner with patients, is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He spends ample time to discuss your condition and recommended course of treatment. I highly recommend him.

The wait was long, but when seen, Dr. Coker is very thorough, and explained each test on my lab report. He is personable, kind and never rushes the appointment. Definitely worth the wait.

First, I waited 2 hrs to see Dr. Coker my first time. I asked if he requested the medical paper work from my oncologist. They had not. Nurse was going "do it" again. They referred me to an Oncology/Hematology and when I received my referral letter,I called. Nothing. They rejected my referral because Dr. Coker didn't send them my info from previous oncologist. They said to go back and ask Dr. Coker to submit the paper work and get a new referral. 3 months later I have someone. Secondly, I have had a knee and shoulder problem preventing from playing sports What does he do? He referred only my knee and said it was arthritis. So now it has to go back to him to update my referral to add my shoulder and LCL. DON'T use him as your PCP - you will walk away with high blood pressure, and even worse, he will make you feel like your injuries or illness aren't important because he doesn't know how to manage his time or care or know how to actually do a referral.

My appointment was with Dr .Coker at his new office. He can in with no lab work from my previous visit. I ask him what happen to it. He told me they were still scanning his paperwork. I told him about my recent gout attack. and prescribe me indomethacin and colcry. and to come back in 6 months. With no lab work, he did not know my kidney or liver functions. I did not take any of this medication with no baseline. I am looking for a new doctor now. I will be getting a second opinion. I am not going to take this medicine not knowing what it's doing to my body. 6 months ?? No Lab Work??
