Truly awful experience - I waited 2 hours and had to leave as no point waiting longer. Also annoyed at my doctor recommending him as they are in the same building and his reviews are mostly terrible. Isn’t there any organization that can manage him to have some respect for his patients setting up appointments.

I was referred to this doctor from my primary doctor . On the day of they mentioned it would be a little wait , my appointment was for 1:30 . It took about 3 hours for me to see the doctor . He takes about an hour per patient . EIther he needs to schedule less patients or schedule them correctly so we do not need to wait 3 hours.

Dr. Baquerizo takes a lot of his time to spend with his Patients, with my Husband, to make sure that he has all the care & expertise shared in full... Yes, they are a busy office; & yes, You may have to wait, but very few Doctors nowadays are going to spend this much quality time with each & every Patient, just as Dr B & all his wonderful staff do...The (2) Wonderful Ingrids, & his Wife, Ms Lara, are most delightful & helpful to all the Patients ~ He is the Best Endocrinologist in all of Miami, if You want to get the very best treatment for your endocrine issue...He spends lots of time and much thought with all of his patients...no matter their insurance, or their lack thereof, etc....If You want no wait time, You will likely have a Doctor that rushes their patients through; & then, by doing that, nobody has to wait, including the Doctor that rushes their patients. They spend a lot of quality time with each & every patient & evaluate all of their needs.

Basically this: "While claims have been made that he is a good physician, his office wait times are ridiculous. Normally wait time to see this doctor is over three hours after your scheduled appointment time. His office staff does not properly schedule patients, with enough time in between to avoid a back log. Beware of this office. Your time is more valuable and you should value it. Find another physician. Go somewhere else."

I have been seeing Dr. Baquerizo for a few years now after having such a negative experience with another doctor. Dr. Baquerizo has a calming affect when he sits with me explaining my test results. He takes his time with me & is always willing to answer my questions. His staff is always very friendly from the minute I walk in to the minute I leave. The only thing I can say on a slightly negative is the long wait time to see him, but I am getting to see a doctor that shows empathy & concern for my well being.

I have been going to Dr. Baquerizo for 20 yeras. He has always treated me the same with respect and concern for my well being. He takes his time and answers any of my questions no matter how silly they may be. I have since referred many friends and family and they are all very happy as well.

I would rate Dr. Baquerizo 10 stars if I could. He is an excellent doctor with a great insight. He is reliable and trustworthy. He may seem strict and direct, but I can tell from personal experience that he has kindest heart. He derives joy from his patients improvement and truly cares. I'm a medical professional and also his patient for the past 20 yrs. I highly recommend him to my relatives, friends and patients

He told my grandmother she can lose weight by eating once a day knowing she's diabetic and if her blood sugar dropped it would be fine cause it would go back up eventually

I can say that Dr Baquerizo has put me in the right drug plan so far, my A1C levels have dropped significantly and I have reduced weight. I am very happy. He takes the time to listen to you and patiently explains what is best for you and what he proposes to you. Greetings. Twice I've seen this doctor and I've waited more than three hours.

Was nice but not good.

Great Doctor

Visited this well known endocrinologist and was very disappointed. Walked in, looked at my blood work (copies I brought), asked why I was even there and asked that I return in a year. Didn't even let me answer his question as he walked out, very disappointing.
