Dismissive and Unprofessional.
Want a doctor who dismisses your pain and makes you feel like a burden?I was referred to Dr. Herminio F. Ojeda and left feeling unheard and humiliated. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and suspected a recurrent hernia, but he mocked me, saying he’d be embarrassed to ask for imaging because of my medical history.Days later, I went to the ER twice—imaging showed a possible small hernia. At my follow-up, he confused me with another patient, then brushed off my concerns, saying, “Oh, I say a lot of things.” He refused to acknowledge hidden hernias, despite my history.His dismissive attitude left me feeling belittled and ignored. Chronic illness is not a joke. If you want a doctor who actually listens, look elsewhere.
