Travelled to Texas . Was a breeze.
October 2024 was not good month for me. Having chest pains and back pain,I went to see my MD. She immediately did some bloodwork and then called me, after she received the results and told me to go to Maui Memorial Hospital right away. A friend of mine took me, and after some initial testing I needed bypass surgery and a hea valve repair. That’s when I met Dr Slachman. He immediately struck me as a very kind and thoughtfu individual. He explained my situation and what it would take to get me well again,of course I was nervous and somewhat afraid., but was assured that I had a very, good chance of a successful surgery. of course I did, as I would not be writing this Review.I just want to thank Dr. Slachman for giving me another chance at life. For a few more years I hope, a lot more years but hey, to spend with my family and to be with all my loved ones and to travel some more.Thank you so much for your expertise and bringing me back my health. Truly, I thank you from the bottom

I would highly recommend Dr. Slachman for your cardiac surgery. The professionalism and bedside manner are the best. He and Kathy put me at ease during a very stressful time. All of my concerns and questions were addressed in a manner that was easy to understand. The care and attention I received from the staff at Mercy General couldn't have been better. My outcome was a direct reflection of the staff and facility. I'm 7 weeks post op and doing great. Thank you!
