Dr. Khin never once looked at me when we were speaking, just looks down at his keyboard and he definitely does not listen when you are speaking. The Dr. asked a question and while I was trying to answer he continually cut me off with another question. I asked him for suggestions for handling my anicety and he told me he is a psychiatrist, a doctor of medicine, not a psychologist so if I wanted suggestions see a therapist. Just plain rude and actually hung up on me at the end of our first televisit…no goodbye, talk soon, just click and gone. I would definitely not recommend such an arrogant doctor.

Dr. Khin is fine, the billing dept is the problem
My only exposure has been thru telemed appts. It is shocking to see what they change the insurance companies for a 5 min visit. The doctor is okay but they must be hard up for cash because they are bordering on harassment to get their copay's. Happened again today -Received email this morning advising of payment due and several hours later had a phone call wanting to collect payment - these people are rude and aggressive. The lady said I can take payment now over the phone and I said what part of "I am working" and will process the request online AFTER I get off work, do you NOT UNDERSTAND? I have never dealt with a health provider will such an aggressive accounting department. It is almost enough to make me want to find another provider. Absolutely crazy to send a bill then demand payment a few hours later.

Incompetency at its finest
I was referred to Dr. Khin as an outside psychiatrist by Kaiser Behavioral Health and was seen by him since October. Each time I had an appointment via telehealth he was always late. I tried to give him some grace the first couple of times as sometimes doctors run behind schedule but it was getting to the point where I would not go through with the appointment because of the long wait time. Secondly, it was always a headache for me to get my lab tests ordered for my medication and he would always give me the run around instead of informing the Kaiser representative to submit my lab test to my PCP. I would always have to do all the leg work. The straw that broke the camels back was when I had rescheduled my appointment and saw that he changed it back to the original appointment the day after I rescheduled. This doctor will cause you nothing but inconveniences and try to put you on more medication than necessary. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR PLEASE!!!

Intake appt
I work in the mental health field so I know not to expect soooo much from a prescriber. However, punctuality is a decent expectation. Showing up 15 minutes late to a 15-20 minute appt is not acceptable. The whole Rancho Cucamonga location seems chaotic; uncoordinated, rude, dismissive- bad experience with scheduling, with sending the initial paperwork, etc. and now waiting super long to be seen. The first time I scheduled with them, apparently the Dr couldn’t even see me on his schedule, but I received a confirmation. So I had to wait 1.5 weeks to get my meds. SMH. This is not quality care AT ALL.

Money Grubbing and Incompetent
I have been on the same medication for years, but Dr. Kihn insists on seeing me every month, virtually, to refill my medication. The only reason I can think of is so he can have a five minute appointment and make 250$. His accent is so thick it’s difficult to understand him and I doubt he actually knows anything useful. Also he shows up ten fifteen minutes late to the appointment every time.

He knows best when it comes to medication !
My daughter been going to Dr. Khin for almost 6 months and she's on medication for her anxiety issue. He seems very knowledgeable on medications. Even though I had doubts whether the medication is right for her and whether he needs to switch to another, he assured me it is the RIGHT medication that I need to give it some time to work and he's right. Some doctors would just go ahead and switch when the patient complains but Dr. Khin knows what he's doing and won't cave in to patient's request but instead, he'll explain to patient why it's not working yet.

Dr. Kihn is GREAT! What most need to realize is that he is a psychiatrist NOT a therapist. Contrary to what others have said, I like Dr. Kihn because he does not overprescribe medication. He has encouraged my daughter to work on her coping skills so that she can get off her meds. He does have a heavy accent so at times it is difficult to understand what he is saying. So, just ask the Dr. to repeat himself. Like all therapists and psychiatrists, the first appointment will take time to schedule. You aren't seen overnight. Once you are on a schedule it's easy peasy. His job is to prescribe what your body and mind need and not give you what you think you need because you're currently unstable. He will not give refills without seeing him first so do your part by not waiting till the last minute to get a refill and don't miss appointments. Dr. Kihn has been instrumental in my daughter's mental health.

It's a great indictment on where ever this "doctor" graduated from that he was ever able to practice medicine. He demonstrated nothing but callousness and showed no respect for my humanity during the very brief time I spent with them. Wanted to overprescribe me medication and suggested I tell another provider that I fake a suicide attempt in order to get what HE thought I needed. This I could only barely make out as he left the door open during the session while bombarding me with questions I had already answered on the intake form. Would award zero stars if I could.

Dr Kihn is the rudest doctor I have ever dealt with. I couldn’t find anyway around his rude bitter attitude. I really tried, especially since it’s such a pain getting an appointment.

As has been mentioned in another review, Dr. Khin is not a therapist and therefore can seem dispassionate. He is there to monitor medications. In this regard, the Inland Psychiatric (Rancho Cucamonga) group is a bitter failure. When my insurance dropped my depression medication from their formulary, I tried for a week to contact Dr. Khin to submit a prior authorization which required only a five minute phone call. All my calls were handled by an answering service and I received no call back. This is unacceptable! I'm now going 'cold turkey' off my meds and seeking legal action.

Very poor performance as a professional as well as people. Treats you as if you are there because you are plain stupid and not because you have an illness. Acts quite irrational himself. No courtesy in his demeanor. Seems as if he is in a hurry to. Rush-you-off. Clinic should review his performance. I find him rude and plain un compassionate.

I found Dr. Khin to be kind and compassionate. The people who gave him low ratings probably have not had a lot of experience with psychiatrists. Psychiatrists ARE similar to car mechanics, they are brain mechanics. They don't sit and listen for half an hour to your issues. That's what a therapist is for. A psychiatrist listens to your symptoms, and prescribes medication.

Dr Khin should be a car mechanic. Zero people skills. He sees about 15-20 people in one hour. The initial consult lasted 10-15 minutes and the others lasted 2-5 minutes. This makes sense since there are a lot of clients and he's there for medication management only, but the irony is that Dr Khin comes across as if these parameters justify a lack of empathy -the root of narcissism. Somewhere in his quest, he's lost the ability to act human; instead, he acts like he's there because he's paid.

his office in Rancho Cucamonga has horrible people skills and Dr. Khin has treated me only as a dollar sign. when you see him he wants ypu out as soon as possible, doesn't inform you regarding changes in your medication. I really wanted to like him but he doesn't validate me as his patient he only want to charge the visit.
