Best Hospitalist Ever!
In my 84 years I have been cared for by many hospitalists in hospitals in different areas of the U.S..A. and the world. I can say without hesitation, that Dr. Helen Chou was the best doctor that has cared for me in the hospital ever! She listened to my concerns with great attention and checked on me many times during the day every day. She explained my conditions in detail and in verbiage I could understand. Her kindness and compassion were outstanding and she treated the nurses as well as me with the utmost respect. She deserves 10 stars in my opinion. She even called me after I went home to see how I was feeling. Thank you Dr. Chou, you are a wonderful doctor and person. I am so grateful for your expertise in getting me well much sooner than expected. I'd like to add that everyone at Scripps Memorial in La Jolla was kind, caring and attentive. Best hospital experience I've ever had. Great attitudes and they seem to enjoy their jobs!

Not a good Dr.
This Dr. tried to rush me out of the hospital without proper tests being done. I insisted they be done prior to my leaving, then she rushed me out without adequate understanding of my situation. She talked over me, refused to listen and I truly needed to speak to an orthopedic Dr. on call but I was so frustrated and in pain I left.Terrible communicator.
