Very happy
I've had two appointments with Dr. Mamaril thus far and I am very pleased with him. Courteous, allows time for me to ask questions. Never felt rushed; he is very pleasant; good listener. I think he is a great doctor.

Can I get my Medical Records?
Only question that I have is, how do I access my labs and Medical records. Does he have a portal?

Thorough and kind
Based on the number of negative reviews, I almost didn't give this doctor a chance. I needed to establish care, and this office is convenient, so I went with it. Dr. Mamaril was attentive, thorough, and professional. Can't ask for anything more. I would have no hesitation and recommending him to a friend.

Initial visit was not good. The doctor did not have a good bedside manner. Wanted my partner to see someone for anxiety. Of course she was anxious due to her cancer diagnosis. Was not very patient and seemed a bit agitated.

Been my doctor for several years. Actually very happy with him. He needles me a little about my weight (actually much better than most males my age) but whatever. I don't have health problems so maybe that makes a difference in the perception of care.

Dr. Mamaril is the best physician I’ve ever had. He listens to me than recommends what is needed to change my lifestyle. He’s not into prescribing a pill to fix an issue but to change my diet. When I’m Ill, he has prescribed the correct medication. He’s kept me healthy and tells me like it is when I have a lab results that needs correcting.

Absolutely the worst doctor I've ever been seen by! Before he reviewed my records and before I was able to finish telling him the physical pain I am experiencing he starting questioning me about anxiety! He only wanted to focus on the issue of anxiety. Like the other 1 star reviews state I would give him a negative star review if I could. I DO NOT recommend seeing him it is a waste of time!

it is a waste of time to see this doctor. He doesn’t show care to his patient. You will not hear any sorry for the miscommunication or shortcomings he/his office has made and caused to the patient. Very unprofessional. He should be reported and file a complain against this doctor. The staff are rude they answer back to the customer and wouldn’t listen to the patient’s side they would argue with you. Will file complain against him.

I have been a patient of Dr Mamaril for about 5 years. I have been particularly impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. The care that I have received has been outstanding. He is not afraid to recommend a specialist when he feels it is appropriate. After each visit he provides a written summary of the visit along with recommendations for continued treatment. HIs staff, particularly his primary nurse, Edna, have been extremely helpful. The flexibility of scheduling me for any unforeseen problem has been very much appreciated.

PLEASE....Do yourself a favour and find someone else!!! I wish we were allowed Negative Stars too!!! One star is too much for him! I just moved to San Diego and I was looking for a Primary care doctor. I'm really upset that I went to him. He DID NOT let me explain my previous health history. He simply opened his laptop and asked me a few questions and within 3 minutes of our meeting he established that I had the Worst kind of Depression and needed to start on antidepressant asap!!! WHAT???? No...you have to check my lab reports, which I was carrying with me, you have to listen to me and ask me questions regarding my previous health and then take it from there!!! You DO NOT DECIDE in flat 3 minutes whether I have Depression or NOT!!! Please do not take any antidepressant prescribed by him as that will really mess up with your health. I feel it's such a waste of a hard-earned degree...

I went to see him just to begin care with the office. Within less than 5 minutes, he was trying to prescribe me anti-Anxiety meds. Sure, life is a bit tricky, but no more than any other working parent. He didn't listen and told me to google it when I asked him about the drugs he was suggesting. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I have been with Dr. Mamaril for over 10 years. He is a straight shooter. He has kept me healthy and is aware of my history. He will not prescribe any treatments or drugs that he does not feel are necessary. He listens and if you are in an HMO he will refer out if it is important to you. I appreciate his demeanor. I would highly recommend him.

My first and last appointment with this doctor. Complete waist of time. Dr Mamaril went off on a tangent about anxiety. I have two bulging disc in my neck and have terrible headaches. He was zero help. All he wanted to talk about was anxiety. I Will not go back to him.

Nice guy but not a very good diagnostic doctor. He has his pet subjects that he harps on every visit, stress, anxiety, weight....... instead of the broken arm you have, and it gets old and annoying fast.

I have seen him three times and everytime, he has listened to my concerns. He never jumps to conclusions. Being from a medical background, I can tell if a MD is talking vague or has no clue. He listens to the history and looks at the labs to come to a diagnosis. I am very satisfied by his expert care. I will recommend him anytime.
