She's unlikely to tell you a joke. But if you have a good one she'll listen . . . provided she's on schedule! Dr. Wells-Holtey and her staff are part of my good fortune.

I used to think she was good but this visit she and especially her assistant Hailey were awful I waited three months to get in for an annual appointment. I originally called to have a spot looked at that I was worried about and they would not fit me in so I went to someone else. They thought I was coming to this appointment for the spot when, in fact, I told the receptionist I could not wait three months and just book the annual. They were quite abrupt with me for seeing someone else and made a big to do on the fact that now I would have to get into a gown if I expected to be examined just for an annual. The assistant Hailey was as rude as she could be. Dr. Wells basically accused me of lying saying that her receptionist would have put me in touch with a nurse if I had said I wanted to be fit in. Seriously????? Why would I lie. I have seen her several times for spots as well as psoriasis. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. TOTALLY unprofessional.

Staff is efficient and polite. I trust Dr. Wells to be thorough and a great listener. I get the time I need for questions and examinations. Couldn’t be more pleased.

She was nice but abrupt and rushed during the appointment. The first visit lasted maybe 10 minutes. I thought a first dermatology visit would include a comprehensive exam, or at least a skin cancer screening, but she just wrote a prescription and was out the door. Not planning on filling it or returning to see her. Will have to get another referral elsewhere.

Hard to imagine a better doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Wells is a supremely gifted dermatologist who emphasizes great care and compassion with patients. She is extremely thorough and knowledgeable and takes the time to communicate complex issues to patients in terms readily understood. She’s genuinely interested in her patients’ lives and has an engaging personality that makes an appointment feel more like a visit to chat than as a physical exam. Great doctor!
