Thought a ruptured brain aneurysm was a headache
In 2019 I went to Baptist Heath in Conway, AR with a sudden severe headache (that is not a strong enough word) and constant vomiting. McLemore was the ER physician and diagnosed me with a tension headache. She sent me home with a ruptured brain aneurysm that could have rebled at any moment. This was on a Sunday evening and it took a Nurse Practitioner Tuesday morning to suggest I have an MRI to see what was going on. That led to emergency surgery to repair the blood vessel followed by a stay in the hospital. I consider myself so fortunate from the entire event. I escaped with almost no complications. Presenting to the ER with classic ruptured aneurysm symptoms should have warranted further review than suggesting I was stressed out.
