Kind and knowledgeable
He is not my normal doctor, I had an emergency appointment for severe neck and shoulder pain. Dr. Rubin listened to what I had to say and examined my muscles and gave his diagnosis. He explained everything in a clear way that I could understand, and offered helpful advice for stretches to do to help release the muscle tension. He was caring and knowledgeable, very grateful for his help.

Not a trustworthy or caring doctor because his ego is in the way. Does not listen and does not care to listen. Gave me a incorrect diagnosis, that could of killed me.

Had an increasing pain in hip and leg, and since my work is dependent on my mobility, was very concerned with diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Rubin was able to assess the problem based on several clear criteria, and was thorough in explaining both the cause and options for healing to me. He is very astute, generous with his knowledge and well-learned.

Shamed me for having a mental illness and refuses to approve my thyroid meds even though he knows I need them and said I don’t need lab tests or anything. Still won’t approve it and I’m running out. Instead of letting me have my meds he gave me a tongue lashing for not seeing him for three years.... years ago.... even though I was suffering extreme depression, didn’t leave my house and almost died. This guy was my doctor for years but I immediately changed doctors after this. Doctors shouldn’t withhold meds because of my mental illness that has nothing to do with my thyroid meds
