Dr. Mallek was my OB for the birth of my first child. I felt so comfortable with him and confident with his decisions. He was supportive and helpful throughout my pregnancy and took my concerns seriously. He came in on his day off to deliver my baby via c/s when labor wasn't progressing and when my baby wasn't crying right away, he calmed me while he stitched me up. I will say that, although we got along great, some might find his bedside manner off-putting, but I think that would be a personality conflict thing. He is a good doctor and cares about his patients.

Dr. Mallek was my OB/Gyn for my second pregnancy. His bedside manner is terrible. He was dismissive and condescending. When I came to him with concerns during my pregnancy, he would make a flippant response and treat me as a child. I was so displeased with his care and with the rudeness of his staff that I found a new OB/Gyn at 35 weeks pregnant! She was so amazing and I am grateful and feel so blessed that I was able to leave Dr. Mallek. I honestly feel that he sees patients as numbers.
