Very thorough and competent as well as caring and kind. I’d been with him for over 20years when he retired. I’m happy for him and wish him nothing but the best in life, he definitely deserves it! I’m saddened for the medical community for the loss of such a remarkable doctor.

Congratulation on Retirement, but...
I was a patient of Dr. Kujala's for nearly 20 years and recently I received a letter saying he was retiring, without any previous warning. I visited his office in March 2022 for my regularly scheduled appointment and as usual scheduled my next 6-month appointment. Then, out-of-the-blue, I received a letter telling me to make an appointment to pick up my files. When I went to the office and asked if he had suggestions for other Rheumatologists, I was told "no." Very odd I thought!!! I didn't get to speak to him directly, only to his office staff person. I felt unfairly treated after nearly 20 years as his patient? What happened to our patient-doctor relationship?

Been a patient of Dr. Gregory Kujala for several years. Competent, cooperative, thorough, willing to go the extra mile, cares about the well-being of his patients. Really appreciate that he actually calls you back! Can't even get my adult children to that:) Dr. Kujala is on top of his game and open-minded to help his patients, and I really like that. His office staff takes care of me like I was family. They are so incredibly kind. His office looks like an art museum/rainforest hothouse. It is GORGEOUS! Wait until you see it! Fantastic art in every nook and cranny and healthy, oxygen-releasing plants fill the waiting room. Such great taste, Dr. Kujala!! Overall, fantastic rheumatologist experience. (And I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for 11 years, so I've "been around the block";)

I had a very thorough visit with Dr. Kujala. We went over all of my symptoms from the time they started until the day of my visit. The staff was amazing!

Dr. Kuala is the worst Rheumatologist to ever treat me by since 1972. Not only is his bedside manner deplorable but his large ego outways his ability to treat a patient properly in a medical sense. He doesn’t listen to his patients in regards to their symptoms and illness problems. He does brush aside what you’re telling him and finds everything you say irrelevant. My MD discovered he carelessly overlooked bloodwork ‘he’ ordered indicating I had thyroid disease. My grade for him is an F+.

Dr. Kujala is very thorough. He gets to the bottom of your problem, and works with you to make your life better. He is not Mr. Personality, but if you want to feel better, and have a better quality of life, he is your doctor!

He didn't seem to take my symptoms seriously, I was referred to him because my primary care doctor knew there was something wrong. He brushed off everything I said like none of it was a big deal. I'll definatly be asking to be referred to someone else.

My first appointment was so very detailed with all my background info and complaints. Dr Kujala staff are very helpful and pleasant. I would recommend him highly. We are on a path to find a way to deal with my pain and I really feel he listened. If you want to chat or have small talk, get it over with before the appointment. Have your questions and background ready for him. Thank you all! PS. His PA is also awesome!
