Destructive not therapeutic
Pointed out all the things that were deficient, and picked apart my trauma before establishing a relationship. He even had the gaul to suggest I was malingering. I left feeling utterly numb and ashamed of my child abuse history. He is very stuck on diagnosis and not what one does to heal, or emphasize strengths. He did seem pleasant but just inept and better suited for writing textbooks than clinical practice.

He proclaimed I was a narcissist after speaking three sentences. I was required to review my entire history of sexual abuse and domestic violence and all his response was ‘don’t look back ‘ . Brilliant !
