I think Dr. Pena needs to review the oath he took when he became a doctor and the agreement he made with medicaid. I made an appointment to discuss getting my son's tonsils removed. I waited several weeks for the appointment. During the appointment Dr Pena advised he would not do the surgery. He said medicaid does not pay him enough money. Why would you not just tell me over the phone you would not do the surgery. His reponse was I don't know. I then stated that I found it amusing that he did not mind accepting payment for the visit today. His response was I only make $30 for the visit today. He said I needed to understand his heart doctor told him not to do anything too stressful. Maybe it is time you retire Dr Pena!

Dr. Pena is fantastic! He is very personable and puts your mind at ease. So helpful and knowledgeable! Best ENT I’ve ever seen. :)

Best Doctor ever. He listens and responds quickly. Great bedside manner and saw things other Drs looked over. He's a great physician and a very personable man as well.

Very friendly doctor and staff! Very thorough with patients! Awesome with kids!!! (He did my 1 year old daughters tubes and I had to bring my other 3 kids with me to doctor appointment) The whole experience from office visits to getting her tubes at Southern Surgical Hospital was great! Highly recommend!

Dr Pena is very thorough and his staff is great. I love that he doesn't overbook his appointments so you don't sit in the waiting room. I've never waited more than 10 min.
