Would not recommend. Pretentious, condescending, didn't listen, tried to diagnose me by just looking at me, told me to lose 50 lbs based on the charts ( I am a short muscular person, not obese), bragged about his kids when I really didn't care, took me 5 return visits or follow ups to finally get the cpap, cpap company was horrible. I am sitting in a real sleep study center as we speak, under recommendation from a real pulmonary doctor. This Lieb and his office are not organized, mean, and lack basic knowledge. If I sound grouchy, it's because I haven't slept well at all since visiting Lieb a couple years ago.

I didn't wait long as other reviews say, however I felt like I wasn't listened to. I was told I passed all my tests but was still diagnosed with something based on a medical history of my family despite no present symptoms per him. When I brought up that I was spitting up yellow Phlegm for 3 months he stated it was inflammation of the bronchial tubes but didn't explain why it was happening. The last straw for me was when He laughed at the fact that I stated I felt too winded and sick to work from home the last 2 months as i had bad bronchitis and since I'm immunocompromised, it takes me longer to heal. He actually said to me, "I don't get it, how hard is it to work from your house" I was almost in tears and felt insulted by him from his comment. It seemed completely out of line and as soon as I got home I canceled my follow appointment and told them it was due to his terrible bedside manner. I don't recommend him

Awful. Long wait -over 1 hour in a tiny, overcrowded (COVID era) waiting room. 4% surcharge for credit or debit payments of your co-pay to force cash payments. Used his phone as an examination light. Got a call on it as he was looking down my throat and decided to take the call. Promoted his wife’s weigh loss clinic. I’ve never experienced anything like this. Disappointing and a waste of my time.

I have seen Dr. Lieb and another doc in his practice for 5 yrs. They are polite, respectful, and thorough. I come with questions written down, and they are always answered to my satisfaction. I have been in the hospital 3x since 2015 (twice for COPD exacerbation) and once for COVID. They saved my life, 3 times. And they keep me in relatively good health on my maintenance meds. No complaints, at all. Yes, the wait can be backed up. But I bring a book. I would not trade the care I get from my doc, his PA, and their nurse practioner for any other pulmonary practice. They are simply superb.

I felt very rushed during my visit. Breathing problems are all new to me and unfortunately Dr. Lieb did not seem to care about it. He was talking while listening to my lungs. I do not recommend to see this doctor if you have recurrent episodes of SOB and bronchitis with no smoking/second hand smoking history.

Dr. Lieb was rushed and the over all atmosphere of the office was cranky and hurried. We were still *trying* to ask him questions as he back out the door. He did not answer questions well about the CPAP machine and when asked follow up questions seemed annoyed like we should know the answers. There was confusion about the card from the CPAP and claimed they never read the card before even though last appointment, 6 months before, we brought the whole machine to them and were told then they had read it. Then we were told the card was "corrupt". They were supposed to order us a new card and one never arrived. They had an 88 year old women (my grandmother) with COPD and athsma walk back and forth to the waiting room and exam room 3 times because of their incompetence. We were charged $42 for copays but could not tell us why. Overall we would not recommend this office at all.

Waited 1 hour 45 minutes for 10 minutes of Dr Lieb’s time. He was arrogant and in a hurry!! The Riddle office waiting room is over flowing with Patients some sitting outside by the elevators. Front desk staff is rude. One elderly man on oxygen said he had been waiting almost two hours. Another patient was scheduled at the Glen Mills office and no one was in that office so they were sent to Riddle Office. I can see a doctor being delayed 10-15 minutes but 1 hr 45 minutes is unprofessional!!!

First visit to Dr. Leib and staff...all were very compassionate and explained every procedure thoroughly. Took time to ensure I was fully informed of my condition. Professional and very helpful. Very pleased with Dr. Leib and his staff. Five stars plus.

Apparently Dr Leibs time is more valuable then mine. My appointment was cancelled by the office a month ago and rescheduled. I showed up to my appointment to find a standing room only waiting room. After a short exam by nurse in the back i was told to return to the waiting room and the doctor would see me shortly. I asked the nurse how long and she responded around 45min. I had already been there a half hour and judging by the waiting room it was going to be much longer than 45min. I LEFT.

Not worth the time in Garnet Valley, PA – Aug 23, 2018
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Lieb?
The problem with seeing Dr Leib is the Media office. We have never waited less than one hour to see Dr Leib. This is problematic for a patient on oxygen. Today’s wait was 2 1/2 hours! The waiting room was full with people waiting in the hall. The staff never communicates how ling the wait will be or the reason for the long wait times. A call to patients letting them know they are running behind schedule would be an easy fix.
