Female Healthcare: Unsatisfactory
Ladies: Avoid this Physiatrist. He lacks the specialized knowledge needed to treat female health issues. He dismissed my concerns as I attempted to explain my recent menopausal weight gain which significantly increased my breast size. His unprofessional behavior and gender bias made me feel uncomfortable and belittled. Quote: 'Your anxiety is worsening your pain'. Did he just say that? Yes, he did. I am 5'3 with a DD breast cup. I played sports throughout childhood and adulthood. I often helped friends move couches up to third floor apartments. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to any woman who wishes to regain her independent and active lifestyle. One star for punctuality. One star for responding to a message over the portal.

I have been seeing Dr. Kannankeril for pain stemming from an injury in my SI joint. I was referred to the practice and he was the first doctor with availability. I am so glad I found him. Dr. Kannankeril is patient, sensitive, sharp, and thorough in his examinations. I highly recommend Dr. Kannankeril.
