Dr. George Camacho, MD

My wife and I have been seeing him for more than 20 years. He is still the best. He is no longer in practice for himself since Dr. Decker retired and passed away. Sometimes the office staff needs improvement but he doesn't control that anymore. You can't find a more attentive or caring board certified pcp.

Best doctor that my wife has ever had. Explained everything in a way we could understand and made sure we were taken care of.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Camacho! He has been my physician for years. He’s intelligent, great listener and is not afraid to refer if it is outside his realm of specialty. Highly recommend!

I would recommend but after the doctor moved to the current Beach Blvd Ace Medical office, services are mismanaged. Primarily, the staff provide poor service. They send incorrect diagnosis codes in the billing and mislead patients. For a recent wellness check, they forgot to label the blood sample and the results came back blank. They did not care to call or send the results. Don’t pick up their phones or respond to emails. Don’t recommend.

For many years I would have recommended this doctor, but that is no longer the case. I have followed this doctor to all his various locations. Since he has returned to the Beach Blvd. location the service, in my opinion, has declined. The staff says they will get problems with prescriptions straightened out that they call to the pharmacy, but they took almost a month to do this. Sometimes they never get straightened out despite multiple requests from me for assistance with the problem. Had to sit in an examining room for 1 hour pass my scheduled appointment time and then only saw the doctor for approximately 10 minutes. He stayed in the room next to me talking with another patient for the 1 hour. These are my opinions. I'm just happy that I'm changing to a new doctor.

The Best Doctor.....knowledgable, caring, easy to talk with and knows when a specialist is required. So happy his nurse Renee is back. They make an awesome team.

Since Dr. Camacho has moved back to the Beach Blvd. location, service has gone down hill. If the staff returns calls (big if), they don't do what they say they will. They didn't even return calls from the Pharmacy they called prescription in to when there was an issue with the prescription. Dr. Camacho himself seems less engaged.

Doc Camacho has been my doctor for several years. He is the MOST CARING AND COMPASSIONATE doctor I have ever had and I’ve always appreciated his honesty, regardless of what is discussed. I would trust him wholeheartedly, with no reservations at all. The world needs more people like Doc Camacho! His medical assistants are just as kind and caring, I have never once had a bad experience seeing Doc Camacho. I feel blessed beyond belief he took me as his patient, after my PCP passed away years ago. Would not think twice about referring family / friends to this very kind doctor.

Dr. Camacho has been our physician for almost 30 yrs. He is a caring doctor and we trust his judgment with our health. He is readily accessible for emergent care. We appreciate is thoroughness in our physical evaluations. However, the staff at ACE Medical where he is employed acts without a sense of urgency, provide non professional customer service, and often fail to call in prescriptions correctly.

Lack of medical knowledge, no sense of urgency, lack of communication, nurses seem very frustrated with him and it took him 2 hours to sign for our discharge from the hospital. Nurses made up for his lack of care.

Dr. Camacho is an excellent physician who provides compassionate care to his patients. He has been our Primary Care physician for over 20 years and we have the utmost respect and faith in the wonderful care he has provided to us.
