I read the other reviews and realize what a horrible person she is. She treated my husband for anxiety issues and was rude, unprofessional, and honestly behaved more like a debt collector than a doctor. Cares about money and pretty much only about that. My husband's symptoms persisted, she prescribed medication recklessly. These are the times when I wonder why there are no zero stars. Disgusting to see medical professionals like her

Not a good experience
Telehealth
My experience with Geetha was horrible after just a handful of sessions. She initially agreed to follow my old doctor's protocol (who I saw for 9 years, but retired), but as the sessions progressed, she wanted to change everything -- from appointment frequency, medication dosages, etc. And you soon realize if you question her, she gets MEAN and hostile; she tries to play gotcha by referring to her notes and telling you you are lying; she tells you appointments will be via some secure telehealth portal but it was always just a frenzied phone call instead. I paid her in full immediately for a prior visit, but I spent TWENTY minutes with her on the next visit while she took forever finding her password to sign-in and check her bank account to make sure I paid. But overall the mean, nasty way she can speak was the worst.

Very tempermental
My experience with her was the worst. She brags ad nauseum about how professional she is and must always follow the rules, but the only rules she follows are the ones she makes up depending on her mood. The main problem with her, as other reviews have stated, is that she can be downright mean and rude. She'll turn on a dime out of nowhere. How someone with this type of personality can be entrusted to care for the mentally ill is beyond me.

Caring and attentive

I’d been a patient of Dr Menon (as referred by my neurologist) for several years prior to my recent relocation out of state. She helped me through a very rough period of anxiety and later phobia. She took time to understand my concerns throughout and made herself available to me for consultations. When first meds did not work for me she listened and made the adjustment to a different drug which I am still successfully taking. Thankful for her care.

Dr. Menon
Dr. Menon is a very knowledgeable psychiatrist and psycho-pharmacologist. She also, thank G-D, has a very good sense of humor something lacking in quite a few headshrinkers. I'm generally very fond of Indian people and if possible hit them up for some of their family recipes but I haven't had my mind on that yet as I've been busy listening to her as she's responding to my occasional tales of woe.I like her.

Worst experience ever
Looking for a place close to my house I made a mistake coming here. After explaining my pre diagnosis she took it with a grain of salt and threw it out the window. Very rude, nasty personality, and doesn’t let you talk. For the field of work she is in, she has zero patience and it’s either her way or you can leave. After my visit I left feeling as if I needed more help. I would highly recommend finding another psychiatrist before ever stepping foot in this place. She prides herself more than she cares about the actual patient. Values her achievements in life more than she values the people coming to her for help in their time of need. Never felt the need to review a doctor, but this was much needed. If you care about your mental health please avoid this place at all costs… even if your insurance is paying!

Overcharged me for all of our sessions even though I was on Medicare, sick and clearly not all there. I was so mentally ill at the time I didnt even realize what she was doing til my therapist at the time explained after the amount of money I was being charged came up in a session... Dr Menon was very unprofessional and also relies on outdated knowledge. I've been receiving mental health treatment for a long time and this was one of the worst "mental health professionals" I've ever come across. When people say they are afraid to go to psychs it is bc of vultures like Dr Menon

Dr. Menon is an outright liar. After discussing my previous treatment (over 8+ years) she agreed to continue it, so I made an appointment to see her. I presented her with my previous Dr.s notes as soon as I walked in. She completely disregarded them and said that I should have ECT therapy - within the first 10 minutes of the initial visit. I have never experienced a Dr. making a diagnosis in such a ridiculous manner. Avoid this woman at all costs.

Do not see this doctor. She rushes you out in 5 minutes and is demanding immediate payment even though I am having financial difficulty. I am offering to pay in full just giving me 3 months. She said no. I left for another doctor.
