I have been a patient of Dr. Gary Luckman for three years and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a GI specialist. He has been treating my Crohn’s disease with a personalized and effective plan that suits my needs and preferences. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate and attentive. He always listens to my concerns and explains everything clearly. He is the best GI doctor I have ever had and I trust him completely with my health.

I have been seeing Dr. Luckman for 2 years now. He is extremely experienced, knowledgeable and diligent! He keeps a very close watch on medications, noting any possible symptoms and side effects, and regularly scheduling colonoscopies when needed. He has a very warm and engaging personality, immediately making a person feel relaxed. He answers questions very clearly and concisely. Dr. Luckman converses with other gastroenterologists. Also, he keeps up to date very well on the newest treatments. He is the very best gastroenterologist that I have seen!! I cannot recommend him enough!!

I expected much more from this doctor. After years of struggling with Gastro problems abroad and coming back home to the USA, I am so disappointed. I did a colonoscopy, all the blood work and they came back normal but my symptoms of constant bleeding and inflammation remain unanswered and unexplained. I was brushed off and told to “stop being such a nervous person”. Ok thanks!! Not coming back to a belittling doctor that does not take time to hear your problems and find a solution together that works.

Went to Dr. Luckman for a colonoscopy that I had postponed for years and he found a huge mass which he said looked cancerous. He took a biopsy and immediately referred me to a surgeon and pre op testing so the mass could be removed. Thankfully, the surgeon removed the section of the lower colon that was affected and I am doing well, but must follow up with an oncologist. If Dr. Luckman had not been so diligent and recognized that it was possibly cancer (most likely hereditary) I may not have survived 6 months or a year longer. His extensive experience and gifted staff immediately set me up for health success and I am grateful to him. Thankfully the surgery was a success and God willing the oncology treatments will bring me to 100% health soon. I recommend Dr. L for any gastro procedure that may be warranted and now I am a big advocate for colonoscopies!

Dr. Luckman is great. Comprehensive, thorough, knowledgeable, friendly...what more could you ask for in a doctor?

Dr Luckman is the best! I have gone through MANY GI doctors and finally, and I mean finally, found someone that I can trust. He is thorough, straight-up, and trustworthy. His office staff is amazing and extremely helpful as well. I would not heisting to recommend Dr Luckman to anyone needing his expertise.

Dr. Luckman was amazing! I had been to another Gastroenterologist at Cleveland Clinic before and felt very unsatisfied with the service and the level of care. Dr. Luckman was very patient, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. He listened to what I had to say and developed a plan of action. I highly recommend him!!!

My husband, Ike Lewis, met Dr. Luckman at the hospital and when it comes to me picking a doctor I am questionable but we decided to give Dr. Luckman an opportunity and we have been with him for the last three to four years. We are very pleased. When there is an issue and we need to hear from Dr. Luckman then we will get that call and his office knows us by name which means that is a personal touch and that's what one needs when they are dealing with medical issues and goes to the doctor's office.

I was having some stomach problems for months in and out of the ER and even went to see another GI doctor and was told it was just acid reflex. My first appointment with Dr. Luckman he told me exactly what he thought the issue was and it turned out to be just that. Within a month I was in surgery and my issue was fixed. Hands down one of the best doctors I have every had. He took very good care of me and came to see me everyday I was in the hospital. I can not say enough good things about him. He is one of the best!!!

I appreciate that as our primary physician, he readily refers to excellent specialists when necessary, and then coordinates their findings.
