Outstanding bedside manner! Dr. Adler stands out in his profession. His services went above and beyond the normal doctor patient interaction. Please don't overwhelm his office with new patient's and make it more difficult to get an appointment for me next time. I highly reccomend his expertise.

Fantastic Doctor
I have been a patient for over 20yrs. Dr Adler is caring, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He takes the time to go over everything and makes you feel very positive and comfortable. I wouldn't think of going to any other doctor. You are made to feel like family both before and after your procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Adler and feel you will be truly lucky and blessed to have him in your corner.

Disappointed in not accepting my choice to switch
Was always satisfied with Dr. Adler however, bc of personal reasons I wanted to switch doctors within his group. His partner denied request & because of that I was not able to see any of the doctors in that health group. Is this legal? What disappointed me most was my choice and I had been seeing Dr Adler for about 10 years. He could have said to the other dr was ok, was he upset at me, this is freedom to choose my doctor and expression, I just wanted a change reason I will not write in the post. This is a monopoly because I could not only see the doctors in his office but the policy of this company no one in that group, 1 pays 4r insurance, wishes to change doctors & one can control that. Is that the world in which we live? I thought Dr. Adler would have been more understanding & say, ok it's her choice . there should not have been any offense. I l respect his work, but like every thig else one should be able to make a choice, some blame to both doctors not just the company polic

Amazing and Professional
Dr. Adler is a wonderful Doctor. He performed my Colonoscopy and Endoscopy on the same day and the entire process was extremely smooth. His staff was so sweet and caring. I was very nervous. When I got home Dr. Adler called me to check on me and a few days later called me to go over the biopsy results. Any question or concern I had he would always call and answer. I definetly reccommend him and would gladly go back to him!!!

I had an appointment with Dr. Jay Adler today. It was a complete waste of time. After meeting with the doctor, I met with Maria to schedule the procedure. Without checking with my insurance, she informed me I needed to pay her 30% of the doctor's fee up front. I did not understand why I had to pay a separate fee for the doctor and not just my regular copay for my insurance. She collected $235.00. As I departed, she informed me that no-one ever asks any questions. While still in the parking lot, I called the insurance company who informed me the only fee I was responsible for is the $100 co-pay to the facility for my procedure. I went back up to the office to speak with Maria and she would not see me. When she came out to call a new patient, I asked her if I could talk to her and she asked me about what. I informed her that I wanted to know more about why she charged me $235.00. She said it was "in case my insurance company did not pay them." What!??! That is not what she told me in her office!! I have never had to pay up front in case my insurance company did not pay. The fact that she lied to me in the first place was suspicious. I asked to cancel my appointment and requested a refund. If you go to see this doctor, make sure you don't pay anything up front and that you check with your insurance company as to how much you are supposed to pay. Do not rely on Maria. I wonder where all that money being collected under the guise of the "doctor's fee" is really going.

No one answers the phone, and the VM box is full.
Do not use Dr. Jay Adler! My wife, a current patient, had a serious issue and called the office multiple times over several days, to get an emergency appointment. With one exception, no one answered the phone, and the VM box was full. She could not be the only patient who has experienced this problem. When I finally emailed him – twice -- yesterday afternoon he acknowledged his problem, but then fired my wife as a patient because I (not my wife) had “threatened him” in the email. Here is exactly what I wrote: ”The State of Florida must have a minimum standard of care for an existing patient. I intend to find out what it is.” There is no effective way a patient can communicate with Dr. Adler’s office.

I saw Dr. Adler in 2021 and was impressed with his medical knowledge, demeanor, etc. He was thorough at the time. He did advise that he wanted to redo the Endoscopy as a follow up yet his office never called me for an appointment. The biggest drawback to Dr. Adler is not the doctor himself -- he's great - if you can get in to see him. His office staff is certainly not as competent as he is. They are rude, uncaring, and act as if you are bothering them when you call. Don't expect anyone to call you back. Dr. Adler would be well served to overhaul his staff and bring in people that want to help, and not serve as a hindrance to his practice. He is a good doctor and by the way, that seems to be an anomaly in Broward County.

I saw Dr. Adler because I thought I had IBS. He not only listened to everything I was concerned about but also validated and calmed me. He agreed that I probably had IBS but he said that he wanted to be definitive before sending me off so he scheduled a colonoscopy. He mentioned that he was leaving right after the colonoscopy so he may not be able to check in on me but he ended up calling me an hour after I left the surgery center to check on me and answer any questions. That gesture made me feel that he really cared about me and my wellbeing even though he was busy. I will always recommend Dr. Jay Adler!

I would recommend him because he is a great doctor but unfortunately you have to deal with his staff more than him. They don’t answer their phones, half of their mailboxes are full and when you finally reach someone they don’t speak proper English and are extremely rude.

Dr. Jay Adler is the best. The first time i talked to him i know i am in good hands. I had endoscopy/colonoscopy, everything went well. After my procedure 2 hours later he called to check on me. The following day he called again to tell me the result of my biopsy. Seldom does a doctor calls on his patients. He is knowledgeable, spends quality time, he doesn't rush. His staffs are professional and helpful. I am very lucky to have him as my G.I. Thank you Dr. Adler.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. He’s prompt, his office is promt. Tells you they value everyone’s time. Office wait is practically nil (so appreciated) and finally Dr. Adler, simply brilliant, knows his stuff, feel so secire being in his care. Transferring my husband to his care too. I have been a patient for many many years. I have several health problems and DR Adler has always been willing to research refer out to Specialized specialists and in general has always shown compassionate care. His support staff in Plantation is superb. I have moved away from the Plantation area but travel back to him for my ongoing care because I have great faith in his judgement and expertise.
