Retired Feb, 2024
Saw him three times, After 1st visit, he sent me for various tests. Second visit was 6 months later when he had the results from the tests and diagnosed me with Mild Parkinson's. Was willing to answer any questions. Third visit when I had a lot of questions after doing lots of research on the internet. His answers were short. At this point, I already had heard that he was retiring. Got no info from him or his staff as to whom was taking over the practice. I have not found a replacement and will wait until I get settled in my new home.

My husband saw Dr. Chari and was very pleased with the neurological exam he was given. He found Dr. Chari saw him on time and had a pleasant and professional bedside manner. Questions were asked and answered.

Worst we encountered in 37 years of M.S.
Saw Dr. Chari for several years for MS advice and treatment. For about 37 years we've seen physicians in military hosp., private practices, med. centers from Walter Reed to UNC Hospitals Neurology...many neurologists. Dr. Chari appeared disinterested, cursory, and lacking in follow-up. Advise finding another physician.

The WORST doctor I have ever visited
The first visit was very uncomfortable & he had no "bedside manner". He did order MRIs, for my brain and neck. The office person said I would be contacted by the imaging place within a week. I called the imaging co. & they said they didn't contact me as the order was cancelled. So, I made the appt. & went for my MRIs. My return appt. to Dr. Chari was scheduled for January 28, 2022. I showed up at the appt. time and was told that I didn't have an appt. because he is not in on Fridays. I showed the appt. card & it clearly showed my appt. was Jan. 28. It was supposed to be on Monday, Jan. 31st. I went back on Monday and was treated horribly. He read the MRIs & had no useful info. He acted like he just wanted to be rid of me. I called back a few weeks later and asked for him to resend a bloodwork order for thyroid. He refused to do so. I didn't have it done the first time because it was over $130 and I have never paid for any bloodwork. I need that test because I can't stay awake.

Terrible bedside manner! He acted like he was mad at the world. Couldn’t understand what he was saying through his mask. Would act PO’d when asked to repeat what he was saying. Staff was just as bad, not at all friendly. Did not go back for follow up appointment. Will look for another doctor of this specialty.

We did not stay for the appt. With the pandemic, there was not any social distancing in the waiting room. All the chairs were close together. Very poor practice from a medical professional!!!!!!!!!!!! Very unacceptable!!

I have found Dr Chari to be one of the best neurologists in western Florida. I experienced a wrong diagnosis at the Tampa General hospital by a series of doctors when I exhibited signs and symptoms of Myesthenia Gravis.. It was an almost immediate diagnosis and then confirmed by Dr. Chari. He treated me properly and then lowered the dosage for my chronic condition. My condition is now under control. Look no further than Dr. Ganesh Chari for an excellent neurologist.! Bruce Burke

Dr. Chari, spoke to me as if I was an idiot. He brushed off all my questions as if they did not matter. He wanted me to let my husband die. After seeing him in the coma for a week he stopped coming in to see him. He did not let me know what medications he was giving my husband or for what reason. I would not let this doctor treat my worse enemy.
